2021–22 PlusLiga
The 2021–22 PlusLiga was the 86th season of the Polish Volleyball Championship, the 69th season of the highest tier domestic division in the Polish volleyball league system since its establishment in 1954, and the 22nd season as a professional league. The league is operated by the Polish Volleyball League SA ( pl, Polska Liga Siatkówki SA). This season was composed of 14 teams. The regular season was played as a round-robin tournament. Each team played a total of 26 matches, half at home and half away. The season started on 1 October 2021 and concluded on 14 May 2022. PlusLiga
The PlusLiga is the highest level of men's volleyball in Poland, a professional league competition featuring volleyball clubs located in this country. It is overseen by Polska Liga Siatkówki SA (PLS SA). It is currently a 16 teams league from October to April/May. The regular season is followed by playoffs, with the winner earning the Polish Championship ( pl, Mistrzostwo Polski). It is one of the best volleyball leagues in Europe, being highly ranked in the international competitions. LKPS Lublin, officially known for sponsorship reasons as Bogdanka LUK Lublin, is a professional men's volleyball club based in Lublin in eastern Poland, founded in 2013. Patryk Damian Niemiec (born 18 February 1997) is a Polish volleyball player. At the professional club level, he plays for Trefl Gdańsk. Career National team On 12 April 2015, the Poland national team, including Niemiec, won a title of the U19 European Champions. They beat Italy in the final (3–1). Facundo Conte
Facundo Conte (born 25 August 1989) is an Argentine professional volleyball player who plays as an outside hitter for Ciudad Vóley and the Argentina national team. Conte won a bronze medal at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. Personal life Facundo was born in Vicente López, Argentina. His father, Hugo Conte, is a former volleyball player who was part of the national team that won a bronze medal at the 1988 Olympic Games. He finished his secondary studies in Centro Cultural Italiano in Olivos. Mateusz Malinowski (born 6 May 1992) is a Polish professional volleyball player who plays as an opposite spiker for LUK Lublin. Career Club In 2011, Malinowski joined Jastrzębski Węgiel. In the same year, he won a silver medal of the Club World Championship. In 2013, Malinowski won a bronze medal of the Polish Championship. 2022–23 CEV Cup
The 2022–23 CEV Cup was the 51st edition of the second most important European volleyball club competition organised by the European Volleyball Confederation. This year’s edition of the CEV Cup consisted of 43 teams, of which 30 teams qualified directly for the CEV Cup; 9 teams were the losers from the Champions League qualification phase; and the remaining 4 joined the rest in the quarterfinals, being transferred there from the Champions League group stage as the 3rd placed teams in their respective pools. After losing the first leg of the final, Valsa Group Modena won the second leg and the golden set against Knack Roeselare to win the fourth title of the CEV Cup.
