2021–22 Los Angeles Clippers Season
The 2021–22 Los Angeles Clippers season was the 52nd season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA), their 44th season in Southern California and their 38th season in Los Angeles. The Clippers qualified for the play-in, but failed to reach the playoffs for the first time since 2018 after being defeated by both the Minnesota Timberwolves and the New Orleans Pelicans in the Play-In Tournament, who coincidentally made their first playoff appearances since 2018. It is also the first time in Kawhi Leonard's career that his team missed the playoffs, however, he did not feature at all for the Clippers during the season due to injury. Tyronn Lue
Tyronn Jamar Lue (pronounced ''Ta-RON LEW''; born May 3, 1977) is an American professional basketball coach and former player who is the head coach for the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He formerly served as the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers, helping them win their first NBA title in franchise history. A former point guard, Lue played college basketball for the Nebraska Cornhuskers before being selected by the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the 1998 NBA draft with the 23rd overall pick. He was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers shortly thereafter. As a member of the Lakers, Lue won two NBA championships in his first three seasons. Quentin Marshall Grimes (born May 8, 2000) is an American professional basketball player for the New York Knicks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Kansas Jayhawks and the Houston Cougars. High school career Grimes attended The Woodlands College Park High School in The Woodlands, Texas, graduating in 2018. He was the first basketball player in school history to letter on the varsity team and start in all games as a freshman. Over the course of his high school career he earned a weighted 3.38 GPA. The 2021–22 NBA season was the 77th season for the Sacramento Kings in the National Basketball Association (NBA), and 38th season in the city of Sacramento, California, Sacramento. The Kings entered the season with the List of NBA franchise post-season droughts, longest NBA playoff appearance drought in league history with 15 seasons, tying the record with the Los Angeles Clippers. Harry Lee Giles III (born April 22, 1998) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Agua Caliente Clippers of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils. High school career Freshman and sophomore seasons Giles attended Wesleyan Christian Academy in High Point, North Carolina. Eric Bledsoe
Eric Bledsoe (born December 9, 1989) is an American professional basketball player for the Shanghai Sharks of the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA). He plays the point guard position. The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official List of developmental and minor sports leagues, minor league basketball organization.
