2021–22 Idaho Vandals Men's Basketball Team
The 2021–22 Idaho Vandals men's basketball team represented the University of Idaho in the Big Sky Conference during the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Led by third-year head coach Zac Claus, the Idaho Vandals men's basketball, Vandals played their home games on campus at the new Idaho Central Credit Union Arena in Moscow, Idaho. Previous season The previous season had been intended to be the 1975–76 Idaho Vandals men's basketball team, 46th and final season for Idaho Vandals men's basketball, basketball in the Kibbie Dome, configured as the "Kibbie Dome#Basketball, Cowan Spectrum" for basketball since February 2000–01 Idaho Vandals men's basketball team, 2001. Zac Claus
Zachary Arthur Claus (born November 1974) is an American basketball coach who was most recently head coach of the Idaho Vandals men's basketball team. Playing career Claus played college basketball at both Creighton and Eastern Washington. He also spent a year at Nebraska, but did not appear in any games for the team. Coaching career After his playing career, Claus began coaching first at then- NAIA Nebraska Wesleyan as an assistant coach and junior varsity head coach. He moved on to Austin College before two assistant coaching stops in Division I at Portland State and Sacramento State. In 2005, Claus joined Mark Fox's staff at Nevada, where he'd stay for the next 10 seasons under both Fox and David Carter. In that span, the Wolf Pack captured three-straight WAC regular-season titles and made three appearances in the NCAA tournament. Moorpark is a city in Ventura County in Southern California. Moorpark was founded in 1900. The town grew from just over 4,000 citizens in 1980 to over 25,000 by 1990. The Grand Canyon Antelopes men's basketball team represents Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona.
