The 2021–22 EHF European League is the 2nd edition of the EHF European League, which is the second most important European handball club competition organised by the European Handball Federation (EHF). Qualifying rounds First qualifying round A total of 32 teams were involved in the first qualifying round draw. The first leg matches was held on 28–29 August 2021, while the second leg matches was held on 04–05 September 2021. The draw was held in EHF office in Vienna. The results of this round were: Second qualifying round A total of 24 teams were involved in the second qualifying round draw, 16 advancing from the previous round and 8 teams entering this round. EHF European League
The EHF European League is an annual men's handball club competition organised by the European Handball Federation (EHF) since 1981. It is the second-tier competition of European club handball, ranking only below the EHF Champions League. Previously called the EHF Cup, the competition will be known as the EHF European League from the season 2020–21. Portuguese side Benfica are the current holders. History It was formerly known as the IHF Cup until 1993. Also, starting from the 2012–13 season the competition has been merged with the EHF Cup Winners' Cup. Maccabi Rishon LeZion ( he, מכבי ראשון לציון) is a handball team from the city of Rishon LeZion, Israel. competes in the Ligat Winner Big. The team's colors are yellow and blue, and it hosts its home games in the new 1500-seat bet maccabi in Rishon LeZion. Maccabi have won 16 championships and 10 Israeli cups. Club Balonmano Granollers, commonly known as BM Granollers, is a handball club based in Granollers, Spain. History The club was founded in 1944 and it is one of the oldest and most successful Spanish handball clubs in terms of titles won. Since its inception, the club quickly got a great competitive level. BM Granollers has competed almost every season in the top league of Spanish handball (currently Liga ASOBAL). RK Tineks Prolet (HC Tineks Prolet) ( mk, РК Тинекс Пролет) is a team handball club from Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia. Currently, they compete in the Macedonian Handball Super League. The added name Tineks name comes from the Tinex supermarket which supports the team, while their original name Prolet is after the Skopje settlement of Prolet. The club's main rival was RK Jug, now a defunct club who was from the neighboring settlement of Muchurin.
