2021–22 Danish Cup
The 2021–22 Danish Cup, also known as Sydbank Pokalen, is the 68th season of the Danish Cup competition. The winner is qualified for the 2022–23 UEFA Europa League, Europa League third qualifying round. Structure 92 teams participates in the first round, coming from all levels of competition. Six additional teams will join in the second round, while the top six teams from the 2020–21 Danish Superliga enter in the third round. Participants 104 teams will compete for the DBU Pokalen, Danish Cup. All teams from the top three divisions in 2020–21 were automatically entered, while 54 teams from lower division teams qualified through qualifying matches to enter the competition proper. Danish Cup
The Danish Cup ( da, Landspokalturneringen; often referred to as Pokalen) is the official "knockout" cup competition in Danish football, run by the Danish Football Association. The cup has been contested annually since 1955. The winner will qualify for the UEFA Europa League tournament the following year, where they (as of the 2009–10 season) will enter in the third qualifying round. The latest edition, 2017-18 Danish Cup, was won by Superliga-side Brøndby, beating Superliga-side Silkeborg 3–1 on 10 May 2018 at Parken Stadium, thereby winning their first domestic trophy since 2008. The final traditionally takes place on ''Kristi Himmelfarts Dag'' ( The Ascension) and it is always played in the Danish national stadium Parken. Fodbold Club Sydvest 05 (), or simply Sydvest 05, is a Danish football club based in Tønder Municipality. The club is a merger established in Southwestern Sønderjylland in 2005 between Løgum IF Fodbold, Bredebro IF, Ballum IF and Tønder SF Fodbold.
