2021 Women's FA Cup Final
The 2021 Women's FA Cup Final was the 51st final of the Women's FA Cup, England's primary Single-elimination tournament, cup competition for Women's association football, women's football teams. The showpiece event was the 27th to be played directly under the auspices of the Football Association (FA) and was Naming rights, named the VitalityLife, Vitality Women's FA Cup Final due to sponsorship reasons. The final was contested between Arsenal W.F.C., Arsenal and Chelsea F.C. Women, Chelsea on 5 December 2021 at Wembley Stadium in London and broadcast on BBC1. Chelsea won 3–0 in front of a crowd of 40,942 to clinch their third title. Originally scheduled to be played in May 2021, the match was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom. The alternative date in December was chosen to symbolically coincide with the 100 year anniversary of the FA's infamous ruling to ban women's football from the grounds of all its affiliated clubs. 2020–21 Women's FA Cup
The 2020–21 Women's FA Cup was the 51st staging of the Women's FA Cup, a knockout cup competition for women's football teams in England. Manchester City W.F.C., Manchester City were the defending champions, having beaten Everton F.C. (women), Everton 3–1 in the 2020 Women's FA Cup Final, previous final. The draw was split regionally until the fourth round proper. Teams A total of 376 teams had their entries to the tournament accepted by The Football Association, an increase of 76 from the previous year. 174 teams from outside the top four divisions will enter at the extra preliminary round with another 109 joining in the preliminary round. Kim Little
Kim Alison Little (born 29 June 1990) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a midfielder for and captains Arsenal of the English FA WSL. Before her retirement from international duty in 2021, Little was vice-captain of the Scotland women's national team. Frida Leonhardsen Maanum (born 16 July 1999) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder or defender for FA WSL club Arsenal and the Norway national team. Club career 2014–2016: Lightning Maanum played youth football for Bærumløkka, Stabæk, and eventually Lyn.
