2021 Tour De L'Ain
The 2021 Tour de l'Ain was a men's road cycling stage race that took place from 29 to 31 July 2021 in the French department of Ain. It was the 33rd edition of the Tour de l'Ain, which was a 2.1 event on the 2021 UCI Europe Tour calendar. Teams Eight of the nineteen UCI WorldTeams, eight UCI ProTeams, three UCI Continental teams, and two national teams made up the twenty-one teams that participated in the race. With five riders, was the only team to not enter a full squad of six riders. Of the 125 riders who started the race, 104 finished. 2021 UCI Europe Tour
The 2021 UCI Europe Tour was the 17th season of the UCI Europe Tour. The season began on 24 January 2021 with the Trofeo Luis Puig, Clàssica Comunitat Valenciana 1969 – Gran Premio Valencia and ended on 24 October 2021 with the Ronde van Drenthe. Throughout the season, points were awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. The quality and complexity of a race also determined how many points are awarded to the top finishers; the higher the UCI rating of a race, the more points were awarded. The German Cycling Federation or BDR (in German: ''Bund Deutscher Radfahrer'') is the national governing body of cycle racing in Germany. The BDR is a member of the UCI and the UEC. Georg Zimmermann (born 11 October 1997) is a German racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Lagnieu (; frp, Lagniœ) is a commune in the Ain department in eastern France. Geography Lagnieu is located in the south of the department of Ain, on the right bank of the Rhone, 50 km northeast of Lyon and 37 km south of Bourg-en-Bresse. The town belongs to the canton of Lagnieu, of which it is the seat, and the arrondissement of Belley.
