2021 Sochi Formula 3 Round
The 2021 Sochi Formula 3 round was the seventh and final race of the 2021 FIA Formula 3 Championship. It took place at the last Sochi Autodrom and featured three races from 24 to 26 September in support of the 2021 Russian Grand Prix. Dennis Hauger clinched the drivers' championship in the first race after a second-placed finish. However, Trident clinched their first teams' championship ever in Formula 3 after securing a double podium lock-up for the Italian squad in the Feature Race, with Jack Doohan winning his fourth race of the season whilst teammate Clément Novalak finished third. The Sochi Autodrom (russian: Сочи Автодром, Sochi Avtodrom), previously known as the Sochi International Street Circuit and the Sochi Olympic Park Circuit, is a permanent race track in the settlement of Sirius (urban-type settlement), Sirius next to the Black Sea resort town of Sochi in Krasnodar Krai, Russia. ART Grand Prix is a French motor racing team that competes in formula single-seaters in Europe. In 2012, it competed in the GP2 Series and GP3 Series as Lotus GP to reflect sponsorship from British sports and racing car manufacturer Lotus. The team competed as Lotus ART in 2011. HWA Team, also known as HWA RACELAB, is the auto racing team of HWA AG, a German company based in Affalterbach, that also develops and builds vehicles and components for Mercedes-AMG race cars. It is named after founder Hans-Werner Aufrecht. History HWA was responsible for managing the AMG Mercedes team in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM). Oliver Rasmussen (born 6 November 2000) is a Danish racing driver currently competing in the World Endurance Championship for Jota. Early career Italian F4 2018 Rasmussen started his single-seater career off with Jenzer Motorsport at the opening round of the 2018 Italian F4 Championship. Oliver "Olli" Caldwell (born 11 June 2002) is a British racing driver who is competing for Alpine in the FIA World Endurance Championship.
