2021 SWAC Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2021 SWAC men's basketball tournament (officially known as the Cricket Wireless SWAC Basketball Tournament due to sponsorship reasons) was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the 2020–21 season in the Southwestern Athletic Conference The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) is a collegiate athletic conference headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, which is made up of historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) in the Southern United States. It participates in t ... (SWAC). The tournament was held from March 10–13, 2021. The tournament winner received an automatic invitation to the 2021 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament. Seeds Teams were seeded by record within the conference, with a tie–breaker system to seed teams with identical conference records. Bartow Arena
Bartow Arena is an 8,508-seat multi-purpose arena in Birmingham, in the U.S. state of Alabama. It is home to the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Blazers men's and women's basketball teams as well as the women's volleyball team. The 2021 SWAC women's basketball tournament was a postseason women's basketball tournament taking place March 10–13, 2021. The tournament was held at Bartow Arena in Birmingham, Alabama. Jackson State received the Southwestern Athletic Conference's automatic bid to the 2021 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament.
