Remy Christopher Gardner (born 24 February 1998) is an Australian motorcycle racer, best known for winning the 2021 Moto2 World Championship with Red Bull KTM Ajo. He is the son of 1987 premier class world champion, Wayne Gardner. Career Moto3 World Championship Gardner made his first three appearances in the Moto3 World Championship in 2014, twice as replacement for injured riders and once as a wild card entry, scoring one point in Malaysia. 2020 MotoGP World Championship
The 2020 FIM MotoGP World Championship was the premier class of the 72nd F.I.M. Road Racing World Championship season. The season was notably characterized by the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the absence of perennial title favourite Marc Márquez due to a serious arm injury, the high number of wins from different riders, teams and constructors, and the Yamaha engine controversy. The Indonesian motorcycle Grand Prix is a motorcycling event that is part of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing World Championship. There have been three Grand Prix events held; in 1996 and 1997, both at the Sentul International Circuit, Bogor, West Java, and in 2022 at the Mandalika International Street Circuit, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. As a response to the 1997 Asian financial crisis, this race was dropped from the 1998 calendar. In February 2019, it was announced that the Indonesian GP would return in 2021 to be held at the Mandalika International Street Circuit, then under construction in the Mandalika resort area of Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. Portuguese Motorcycle Grand Prix
The Portuguese motorcycle Grand Prix is a motorcycling road racing event that is part of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing World Championship. History The event was first held in 1987 at the Jarama circuit in Spain. The reason for this was because the main Portuguese circuit at the time, the Circuito do Estoril, was not yet ready to be used for motorcycle racing. However, Portugal still wanted to host a round in the championship that year and so opted to use the Jarama circuit until their own was ready for use. In 1988, a second race was held at the new Jerez circuit which was also located in Spain. The original plan was to host the race in Portugal at the Estoril circuit, but Jerez was chosen instead. Dennis Foggia (born 7 January 2001) is an Italian motorcycle rider who is scheduled to compete in the 2023 Moto2 World Championship, riding for Italtrans Racing Team. He previously competed in Moto3, becoming the 2021 runner-up. Career Early career Foggia made his debut in motorcycle racing at age 15, during the 2016 FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Championship, riding for the VR46 Riders Academy team, along with Celestino Vietti. In his first ever race, the opening round at Valencia, he finished in second place, and was a regular points scorer throughout the year, finishing 7th in the standings with 79 points, and grabbing a third place podium in the final race of the season, also at Valencia. Pedro Acosta (motorcyclist)
Pedro Acosta Sánchez (born 25 May 2004) is a Spanish Grand Prix motorcycle racer, competing in Moto2 for the Red Bull KTM Ajo team. He is best known for winning the 2021 Moto3 World Championship in his first year, becoming the first rookie champion since Loris Capirossi in 1990, and the second youngest ever champion, just one day older than Capirossi was at the time of winning. Acosta is also a champion of the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, having won the title in 2020.
