2021 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships
The 2021 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships was the 83rd edition of the annual NCAA Men's Division I Cross Country Championship and the 41st annual NCAA Women's Division I Cross Country Championship to determine the team and individual national champions of NCAA Division I men's and women's collegiate cross country running in the United States. These championships were hosted by Florida State University at the Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Florida. Abdihamid Nur (born October 14, 1998) is an American long-distance runner. Nur set a United States collegiate record in the 5000 meters at the Sound Running Track Meet in May 2022 breaking Henry Rono's 5000 m record from 1978. Nur placed 11th in the 5000 metres Final at the 2022 World Athletics Championships after finishing third at the 2022 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. He also won the 3000 metres and 5000 metres at the 2022 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships, and is the collegiate record holder in the 5000 meters, with his time of 13:06.32. Adriaan Wildschutt
Adriaan Wildschutt (born 3 May 1998) is a South African long-distance runner, who competes professionally for the Hoka NAZ Elite team. He previously ran collegiately for Coastal Carolina University before transferring to Florida State for his final two years of college. In March 2021, Wildschutt finished second at the 2020 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships. In February 2022, he ran an indoor 5000 metres in 13:09.30, setting a South African national record. He competed in the 5000 metres at the 2022 World Athletics Indoor Championships. He also competed in the 10,000 metres at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, placing 5th. Morgan Beadlescomb
Morgan Beadlescomb (born June 1, 1998) is an American middle-distance and long-distance runner currently representing Adidas. Early Years Beadlescomb attended Algonac High School in Algonac, Michigan. He won the Lower Peninsula D2 Cross Country state finals in 2014 and 2015. On the track he was the 2015 and 2016 Lower Peninsula D2 state champions in the 1600 running 4:13 both years.After his senior year was awarded the Times Herald Male Runner of the Year. Charles Hicks (born 25 July 2001) is a British middle- and long-distance runner. He is a two-time European Cross Country under-23 champion (2021, 2022), the first British male or female to repeat as Euro U23 winner. Hicks won the 2022 NCAA Division I Cross Country title. Career Born and raised in London, Charles Hicks moved with his family to Florida at age 12. He studies cognitive science at Stanford University. Conner Mantz (born 8 December 1996) is an American long-distance runner, who competes for Nike. He ran collegiately for Brigham Young University, and won the 2020 and 2021 NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships. Professional Mantz represented the United States in the junior race at the 2015 IAAF World Cross Country Championships in Guiyang, China, placing 29th in 25:28 over 8 km. Mantz also led Team USA to a 6th place finish. Shortly after turning professional in December 2021, Mantz won the USA Half Marathon Championships in Hardeeville, South Carolina with a time of 1:00:55. March 20th, Mantz placed 5th at 2022 United Airlines NYC Half-Marathon in 1:01:40.
