2021 Milano–Torino
The 2021 Milano–Torino was the 102nd edition of the Milano–Torino cycling classic. It was held on 6 October 2021 as part of the 2021 UCI Europe Tour and the 2021 UCI ProSeries calendars. After the previous edition's route favoured the sprinters, the race returned to a more hilly route that favoured the climbers, despite being mostly flat. The race started in Magenta on the outskirts of Milan and headed due southwest, though after around , the route took a nearly U-shaped diversion to the north from Vercelli, which included the Zimone and Cossano Canavese hills midway through, before continuing the southwest direction from Crescentino. In the final , riders took on two ascents of the Superga hill, which had an average gradient of 9.1 percent, on the outskirts of Turin. 2021 UCI Europe Tour
The 2021 UCI Europe Tour was the 17th season of the UCI Europe Tour. The season began on 24 January 2021 with the Clàssica Comunitat Valenciana 1969 – Gran Premio Valencia and ended on 24 October 2021 with the Ronde van Drenthe. Throughout the season, points were awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. The quality and complexity of a race also determined how many points are awarded to the top finishers; the higher the UCI rating of a race, the more points were awarded. Superga
Superga is a hill situated on the south bank of the river Po to the east of Turin in north-west Italy. At above sea level, it is one of the most prominent of the hills that ring the city. David Gaudu (born 10 October 1996) is a French professional cyclist who rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career In 2016, Gaudu won the Tour de l'Avenir, the most prestigious U23 cycling race. Michael Russell Woods (born 12 October 1986) is a Canadian racing cyclist, who rides for UCI WorldTeam and is the first person to break four minutes in the mile and complete the Tour de France. Career Athletics career Woods' first sport was ice hockey and his childhood ambition was to play as a left wing for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
