2021 Miami Open – Men's Singles
Hubert Hurkacz defeated Jannik Sinner in the final, 7–6(7–4), 6–4 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 2021 Miami Open. Hurkacz claimed his first Masters 1000 singles championship and became the first Pole to win a Masters 1000 singles title. Roger Federer was the reigning champion from when the tournament was last held in 2019, but chose not to participate this year. As both Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal also chose not to participate, this was the first Masters 1000 tournament since the 2004 Paris Masters without at least one member of the Big Three competing. Hubert Hurkacz (; born 11 February 1997) is a Polish professional tennis player. He has been ranked as high as world No. 9 in singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), which he first achieved in November 2021, making him the highest-ranked Polish man in singles history. He has won five ATP Tour singles titles, including a Masters 1000 title at the 2021 Miami Open. With the win, he became the first Pole to win an ATP Masters 1000 title. John Isner
John Robert Isner (born April 26, 1985) is an American professional tennis player. Dušan Lajović ( sr-cyrl, Душан Лајовић; born 30 June 1990) is a Serbian professional tennis player. Lajović has won one singles and two doubles titles on the ATP Tour.
