2021 Men's Rugby League World Cup Squads
The 2021 Men's Rugby League World Cup featured 16 international teams, with each consisting of up to a 24-man squad. Group A England Head coach: Shaun Wane England announced their 24-man squad on 30 September 2022. Debut call-ups were handed to Andy Ackers, Herbie Farnworth, Kai Pearce-Paul, Victor Radley, Marc Sneyd and Dom Young. Shaun David Wane (born 14 September 1964) is an English professional rugby league coach who is the head coach for the England national rugby league team and former professional rugby league footballer He is a former head coach of the Wigan Warriors, where he won 3 Super League Grand Finals between 2011 to 2018. Victor Derrick Radley (born 14 March 1998) is an England international rugby league footballer who plays as a for the Sydney Roosters in the NRL. 2021 Men's Rugby League World Cup
The 2021 Men's Rugby League World Cup, was the 16th Rugby League World Cup, and one of three major tournaments of the 2021 Rugby League World Cup. The tournament was held in England from 15 October 2022 to 19 November 2022. It was originally due to be held between 23 October 2021 and 27 November 2021, but the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent withdrawals of Australia and New Zealand caused the tournament to be postponed. 16 teams competed in the tournament, an increase of two from the previous two tournaments and the first to feature 16 teams since the 2000 Rugby League World Cup. For the first time, the Rugby League World Cup was run alongside the women's and wheelchair tournaments with all participants being paid the same, while all 61 matches in the three tournaments were broadcast live. Featherstone Rovers
Featherstone Rovers are a professional rugby league club in Featherstone, West Yorkshire, England, who play in the Championship (rugby league), Championship. The Halifax Panthers are a professional rugby league club in Halifax, West Yorkshire, which formed in 1873.
