2021 Inter-Provincial Cup
The 2021 Inter-Provincial Cup was the ninth edition of the Inter-Provincial Cup, a List A cricket competition that took place in Ireland during 2021. It was the fifth edition of the competition to be played with List A status. The number of teams was increased from three to four, with Munster Reds playing in the tournament for the first time. On 25 March 2021, Cricket Ireland confirmed the fixtures for the tournament. On 9 April 2021, Cricket Ireland announced the revised fixtures for the tournament. Leinster Lightning Leinster Lightning is one of three provincial cricket teams in Ireland. Along with the North West Warriors and Northern Knights it makes up the Inter-Provincial Championship, Interprovincial One-Day Trophy and Interprovincial Twenty20 Cup. David Joseph O'Halloran (born 27 October 2000) is an Irish cricketer. In February 2021, O'Halloran was named as part of the new intake for the Cricket Ireland Academy ahead of the 2021 season. Roland Black (born 22 July 1971) is a Northern Irish cricket umpire. He has been an umpire since 2006. He was added to ICC Associate and Affiliate Umpires Panel in 2016. On 14 July 2016 he stood in his first One Day International (ODI) match, between Ireland and Afghanistan. Eglinton (formerly known as Muff) is a village in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. It lies east-north-east of Derry, to which it serves as a sleeper village, and west-south-west of Limavady. Woodvale Road is a cricket ground in Eglinton, Northern Ireland. The home team of the ground is Eglinton Cricket Club who were founded in 1936. It has a capacity of 2,000. Stuart Robert Thompson (born 15 August 1991) is an Irish cricketer. Thompson is left-handed batsman who bowls right-arm medium-fast. Duckworth–Lewis–Stern Method
The Duckworth–Lewis–Stern method (DLS) is a mathematical formulation designed to calculate the target score (number of runs needed to win) for the team batting second in a limited overs cricket match interrupted by weather or other circumstances.
