2021 ICC Awards
The 2021 ICC Awards were the seventeenth edition of ICC Awards. The nominations took into account players' performance between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2021. The announcement of the ICC World XI Teams were made on 19 and 20 January 2022. The women's awards were announced on 23 January 2022. The winners of the men's individual '' ICC'' awards and ICC Umpire of the year award were announced on 24 January 2022, with the Spirit of cricket award was announced on 2 February 2022. The shortlists of the nominations for individual award categories were announced from 28 to 31 December 2021. Shaheen Afridi
Shaheen Shah Afridi (Urdu, Pashto: ; born 6 April 2000) is a Pakistani professional cricketer who plays as a fast bowler for the Pakistan national cricket team. Early life and career Afridi belongs to the Afridi, Zakhakhel Afridi tribe of the Pashtuns. He grew up in Landi Kotal, a town in Khyber District, Pakistan, on the border with Afghanistan. He is the youngest of seven brothers; his eldest brother, 15 years his senior, is Riaz Afridi who played a solitary Test cricket, Test match for Pakistan in 2004. Shaheen started his cricket career from the Tatara Ground in Landi Kotal, which is named after the nearby Tatara hills. Marais Erasmus
Marais Erasmus (born 27 February 1964) is a South African former first-class cricketer who is currently serving as an international cricket umpire. He is a member of the Elite Panel of ICC Umpires and stands in matches of all three formats of international cricket – Test matches, One Day Internationals (ODIs), and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). Playing career Erasmus played first-class cricket for Boland cricket team from 1988/89 to 1996/97 as a fast-medium bowler and a lower-order batsman. His highest score of 103 not out came while batting at number seven in the second innings, after scoring 51 not out in the first innings, against the visiting Warwickshire cricket team in the 1991/92 season. Nat Sciver
Natalie Ruth Sciver-Brunt (; ; born 20 August 1992) is an English cricketer. She was the first cricketer for England to take a hat-trick in a Women's Twenty20 International match. The " Natmeg" shot is named after Sciver, from when she has hit a cricket ball through her legs during a game. Hayley Kristen Matthews (born 19 March 1998) is a Barbadian sportswoman. She plays international cricket for the West Indies as an all-rounder, batting right-handed and bowling right-arm off break. Gaby Hollis Lewis (born 27 March 2001) is an Irish international cricketer who made her senior debut for the Irish national team in July 2014, aged only 13. She made her Twenty20 International (T20I) debut later in the year, becoming the youngest to play at that level. Joseph Charles Buttler (born 8 September 1990) is an English cricketer who captains the England cricket team in limited overs cricket, and plays for the England Test team. Paul Robert Stirling (born 3 September 1990) is an Irish cricketer. Stirling is the opening batsman for the Ireland cricket team and an occasional right arm off break bowler. Kyle Jamieson (born 30 December 1994) is a New Zealand cricketer. He made his international debut for the New Zealand cricket team in February 2020 against India.
