The 2021 Hall of Fame Open was a men's tennis tournament played on outdoor grass courts. It was the 45th edition of the event, and part of the 250 series of the 2021 ATP Tour. ATP Tour 250
The ATP 250 tournaments (previously known as the ''ATP World Tour 250'' tournaments, ''ATP International Series'', and ''ATP World Series'') are the lowest tier of annual men's tennis tournaments on the main ATP Tour, after the four Grand Slam tournaments, ATP Finals, ATP Masters 1000 tournaments, and ATP 500 tournaments. As of 2020, the series includes 39 tournaments, with 250 ranking points awarded to each singles champion—which accounts for the name of the series. Draws consist of 28, 32, or 48 for singles and 16 for doubles. Thomas Muster holds the record for most singles titles at 26, while Mike Bryan holds the record for most doubles titles won with 46. Tennys Sandgren
Tennys Sandgren II ( ; born July 22, 1991) is an American professional tennis player. He has achieved a career-high ATP singles ATP rankings, ranking of No. 41 on January 14, 2019. He broke into the top 100 of the ATP rankings toward the end of 2017 after competing mainly on the ATP Challenger Tour. Born and raised in Gallatin, Tennessee, he played two years of college tennis at the University of Tennessee before launching his professional career. Maxime Cressy (born May 8, 1997) is a French-American professional tennis player. Adrian Mannarino (born 29 June 1988) is a French professional tennis player. He has a career-high ATP singles ranking of world No. 22, attained on 19 March 2018. Jason Jung (; ; born 15 June 1989) is an American-born professional tennis player who represents Taiwan. He is a University of Michigan alumnus who has cracked the Top 150 in the ATP rankings and also won four ATP Challenger events. Marcos Andres Giron (born July 24, 1993; ) is an American professional tennis player. He achieved a career-high singles ranking of No. 49 on 16 May 2022 and a doubles ranking of No. 194 on August 1, 2022. James Duckworth (tennis)
James Duckworth (born 21 January 1992) is an Australian professional tennis player. He has a career-high Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) singles ranking of World No. 47 achieved on 8 November 2021 and No. 185 in doubles achieved on 10 February 2020. Brayden Schnur (born July 4, 1995) is a Canadian professional tennis player. Schnur reached a career-high ATP singles ranking of No. 92 in August 2019. He was a part of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill tennis team from January 2014 to May 2016. Schnur turned professional in July 2016 at the Rogers Cup. Mitchell Krueger (born January 12, 1994) is an American tennis player. Krueger has a career-high singles ranking by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) of world No. 135, achieved on 18 July 2022. Ivo Karlović (; born 28 February 1979) is a former Croatian professional tennis player. His height of 211 cm (6 ft 11 in) makes him the joint tallest ranked tennis player in history, along with Reilly Opelka. He has won eight ATP singles titles between 2007 and 2016.
