The 2021 FedEx Cup Playoffs, the series of three golf tournaments that determined the season champion on the U.S.-based PGA Tour, was played from August 19 – September 5. It included the following three events: *The Northern Trust – Liberty National Golf Club, Jersey City, New Jersey * BMW Championship – Caves Valley Golf Club, Owings Mills, Maryland *Tour Championship – East Lake Golf Club, Atlanta, Georgia This was the 15th FedEx Cup playoffs since their inception in 2007. 2020–21 PGA Tour
The 2020–21 PGA Tour was the 106th season of the PGA Tour, and the 54th since separating from the PGA of America. The season began on September 10, 2020. The 2021 FedEx Cup Playoffs began on August 19, and concluded on September 5, 2021. Because of rescheduling during the 2019–20 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, six major championships occurred during the timeframe of the 2020–21 season, with two editions of both the U.S. Open and Masters Tournament, as well as the 2020 Summer Olympics. As such, the PGA Tour marketed this season as a "super season". By winning the Tour Championship, Patrick Cantlay became the FedEx Cup champion. List Of Point Distributions Of The FedEx Cup
The following tables list the point distributions used in the FedEx Cup during the regular season and playoffs, as well as the ''starting score vs par'' element of the FedEx Cup's Tour Championship. Regular point distribution Only golfers who make the first cut for an event will receive points for that event. In case of a two-cut system (used if 78 or more players make the cut after two rounds), the low 70 and ties advance to the final round, and players who do not advance to the fourth round after the second cut receive points. At the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, where only 60 players make the cut after three rounds, players in the standings who do not make the cut and are between 61st and 70th (and ties) will also receive points. In case of a tie, point totals are added together and divided among all golfers tied for a particular position at the end of a tournament. Early life and amateur career Milton Pouha Finau was born on September 14, 1989 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Hurricane Henri
Hurricane Henri ( ) was a minimal category 1 hurricane that impacted the Northeastern United States. The eighth named storm and third hurricane of the 2021 Atlantic hurricane season. Henri developed from a well-defined low-pressure system north-northeast of Bermuda, becoming a tropical depression on August 16. Nearly a day later, the system strengthened into Tropical Storm Henri.
