The 2021 FC Caspiy season was Caspiy's the second season back in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Kazakhstan, since 2001 Kazakhstan Premier League, 2001. Caspiy will also take part in the 2021 Kazakhstan Cup, Kazakhstan Cup. Season events On 26 February, Caspiy announced the signings of Taras Bondarenko, Chafik Tigroudja, Aslan Darabayev and Ruslan Mingazow. On 1 March, Caspiy announced the signing of Aleksey Zaleski, David Karayev on loan from FC Ural Yekaterinburg, Ural Yekaterinburg and Talgat Kusyapov and Ramazan Karimov on loan from FC Astana, Astana. On 5 March, Caspiy announced the signing of Maksim Gladchenko and Nikola Cuckić, whilst Niyaz Shugaev joined on loan from FC Shakhter Karagandy, Shakhter Karagandy. On 15 July, Stefan Bukorac joined FC Shakhter Karagandy, Shakhter Karagandy on loan for the remainder of the season. FC Caspiy
Football Club Caspiy ( kk, Каспий Ақтау Футбол Клубы, ''Kaspıı Aqtaý Fýtbol Klýby'') is a Kazakhstani football club based at the Zhastar Stadium in Aktau. The club name derived from Caspian Sea ( kk, Каспий теңізі). Their best year was 1996, when they finished 4th in the Premier League and reached the semi-finals of the Kazakhstan Cup. Since 2001, they were stuck in the First Division, until gaining direct promotion to the top division in the 2019 season. History From 1979 – 1991, the team played in the Soviet second league. From 1992 onwards, following the breakup of the Soviet Union, they played in the championship of Kazakhstan. The best achievement – the 4th place in 1996. Premier league return Caspiy returned to the Kazakhstan Premier League for the first time in 19 seasons in 2020, with Head Coach Srdjan Blagojevic guiding them to a 10th-place finish.
