2021 FAI Cup
The 2021 FAI Cup was the 101st edition of the Republic of Ireland's primary national cup competition. This edition features teams from the League of Ireland Premier Division and the First Division, as well as non-league teams. The competition is to begin with qualifying on the week ending 11 July 2021. The winners of the FAI Cup earns automatic qualification for the 2022–23 UEFA Europa Conference League. Qualifying round The draw for the qualifying round took place on 14 June 2021. A total of 18 teams were in the qualifying round draw. Six teams received byes into the first round of the competition: Bangor GG F.C., Malahide United, Liffey Wanderers, St. Kevin's Boys, Usher Celtic and College Corinthians First Round The draw for the first round took place on 13 July 2021. Aviva Stadium
Aviva Stadium (also known as Lansdowne Road) is a sports stadium located in Dublin, Ireland, with a capacity for 51,700 spectators (all seated). It is built on the site of the former Lansdowne Road Stadium, which was demolished in 2007, and replaced it as home to its chief tenants: the Irish rugby union team and the Republic of Ireland football team. The decision to redevelop the stadium came after plans for both Stadium Ireland and Eircom Park fell through. Aviva Group Ireland signed a 10-year deal for the naming rights in 2009. The stadium, located beside Lansdowne Road railway station, officially opened on 14 May 2010. Dublin postal districts have been used by Ireland's postal service, known as ''An Post'', to sort mail in Dublin. The system is similar to that used in cities in Europe and North America until they adopted national postal code systems in the 1960s and 1970s. These were incorporated into a new national postcode system, known as Eircode, which was implemented in 2015. Under the Eircode system, the city is covered by the original routing areas D01 to D24, along with A## and K## codes for locations elsewhere in County Dublin. Dean Clarke (Irish Footballer)
Dean Clarke (born 29 March 1993) is an Irish professional footballer who most recently played for League of Ireland club, St Patrick's Athletic, where he spent two and a half seasons. He started his career with UCD, and had two seasons with Limerick, one either side of a year spent at Shamrock Rovers. Career Early career Growing up in Dundrum, South Dublin, Clarke played with local sides Greystones, Park Celtic and St. Joseph's Boys as well as being part of a very successful school side at Oatlands College which were both Leinster and All-Ireland school champions, where he played alongside James Kavanagh, who he would go on to play with later in his career. Garryowen, Limerick
Garryowen () is a neighbourhood in Limerick, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. The word Garryowen is a transliteration of the Irish Garraí Eoin - "the garden of Owen" - and relates to the association in the 12th century between St John's Church and the Knights Templar whose house in Limerick was dedicated to John the Baptist. In medieval times Garryowen was located just outside the Irishtown area of the walled city of Limerick. The citadel (located in the grounds of St. John's Hospital, Limerick, St. John's Hospital) was the Irishtown's main fortification. In 1690, it was the scene of a heroic Jacobite defence-the battle of the breach-which was fought nearby during the Williamite War in Ireland, Williamite War of 1688–91. Dublin 15, also rendered as D15, is a postal district in the suburbs of Dublin in Fingal, Ireland. It is west of the GPO in Dublin city. Geography and political subdivisions Dublin 15 covers a large area, rising from the River Liffey to at the townland of Cloghran near the Rosemount Business Park. The district is bordered by County Meath to the west and the north-west and by the Ratoath Road to the north-east. Clonsilla () is an outer suburb of Dublin in Fingal, Ireland. Clonsilla is also a civil parish in the barony of Castleknock in the historic County Dublin. Mahon () is an area to the south-eastern side of Cork, Ireland. Mahon gets its name from Lough Mahon, a wide stretch of the upper section of Cork Harbour. It was once a semi-rural peninsula, but from the late 20th century was subject to residential development, and has a number of housing estates and developments.
