2021 Evian Championship
The 2021 Amundi Evian Championship was played 22–25 July at the Evian Resort Golf Club in Évian-les-Bains, France. It was the 27th Evian Championship (the first 20 played as the Evian Masters), and the eighth as a major championship on the LPGA Tour. Minjee Lee won her first major at the first hole of a sudden-death playoff over Lee Jeong-eun. Field The field for the tournament was set at 126, and most earned exemptions based on past performance on the Ladies European Tour, the LPGA Tour, or with a high ranking in the Women's World Golf Rankings. Megan Khang
Megan Khang (born October 23, 1997) is an American professional golfer. She plays on the LPGA Tour and is the first player of Hmong and Laotian descent to do so. Khang's parents were refugees from the Vietnam War from Laos and came to the United States with their respective families in the 1970s. Khang was born in Brockton, Massachusetts in 1997 and learned the sport from her father. She qualified for the 2012 U.S. Women's Open at the age of 14. She won several events as a junior golfer and played on the United States Junior Solheim Cup team in 2015. Moriya Jutanugarn ( th, โมรียา จุฑานุกาล; ; born 28 July 1994) is a Thai professional golfer. In 2009, Jutanugarn became the first female to win the Duke of York Young Champions Trophy. In 2013, she was named LPGA Rookie of the Year. She has played on the LPGA Tour since 2013. Her sister, Ariya, also plays on the LPGA Tour. Ariya Jutanugarn ( th, เอรียา จุฑานุกาล, , ; born 23 November 1995) is a Thai professional golfer who plays on the American-based LPGA Tour. She was born in Bangkok. She is the first golfer, male or female, from Thailand to win a major championship. She became the number one ranked golfer in the Women's World Golf Rankings in June 2017. Ally Leigh Ewing (née McDonald; born October 25, 1992) is an American professional golfer and plays on the LPGA Tour. McDonald was born in Tupelo, Mississippi and grew up in Fulton, Mississippi. Symetra Tour
The Epson Tour, previously known as the LPGA Futures Tour, and known for sponsorship reasons between 2006 and 2010 as the Duramed Futures Tour and between 2012 and 2021 as the Symetra Tour, is the official developmental golf tour of the LPGA Tour.
