2021 European Athletics Indoor Championships
The 2021 European Athletics Indoor Championships was held from 4 to 7 March 2021 at the Arena Toruń in Toruń, Poland. This was the second time this event was held in Poland after the 1975 edition in Katowice. The four-day competition featured 13 men's and 13 women's athletics events. Altogether 659 athletes from 46 countries participated in the event which is a record in the competition's history. The Netherlands topped the medal table for the first time with four gold, one silver and two bronze medals. Katarzynka, a gingerbread, was the mascot. Ramsey Angela (born 6 November 1999) is a Dutch sprinter specialising in the 400 metres and 400 metres hurdles. He won the bronze medal in the 400 m hurdles at the 2021 European Under-23 Championships. Jochem Dobber
Jochem Dobber (; born 8 July 1997) is a Dutch track and field sprint athlete who specialises in the 400 metres. He was a gold medallist in the 4 × 400 metres relay with the Dutch team at the 2021 European Athletics Indoor Championships, setting a Dutch record. From Santpoort-Zuid, Dobber made his international debut at the 2013 European Youth Olympic Festival, finishing seventh in the 200 metres and taking bronze in the 4 × 100 metres relay alongside Joris van Gool, Rutger Postma, and Sander Brugge. In 2014, he was a finalist at the Dutch under-18 championships in 2014 in 60 metres, 100 metres and 200 m, and repeated that feat at under-20 level the following year. Andrew William Pozzi (born 15 May 1992) is a British hurdling athlete. He was the 2018 indoor World Champion at 60 metres hurdles. He was the 2012 UK 60m and 110m Champion and holds the record for the fastest ever time run by a UK junior hurdler. The record time, 13.29 seconds, was set on 3 July 2011 in Mannheim, Germany at the Bauhaus Junior Gala.
