2021 Dubai 24 Hour
The 2021 Hankook Dubai 24 Hour was the 16th running of the Dubai 24 Hour. It was also the first round of the 2021 24H GT Series and TCE Series. The race was won by Julien Andlauer, Frédéric Fatien, Alain Ferté, Mathieu Jaminet and Axcil Jefferies in the #36 GPX Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R. Dubai 24 Hour
The Dubai 24 Hour Race is both a sports car and touring car automobile endurance race held annually at the Dubai Autodrome. It was inaugurated in 2006. Entrants and participants As with all races in the 24H Series, promoted by Dutch promoter Creventic, they are open to both professional and semi-professional teams. There are both local competitors from the UAE and surrounding nations in the Persian Gulf as well as a host of international teams particularly from European nations. Unlike the 24 Hours of Le Mans in France whereby teams are invited by the organizers to compete, the Dubai 24 Hour is solely made up of teams who have registered prior to the commencing of the actual race. Entrants must file in a registration application in order to have a chance at competing. Entry and registration fees also apply for competitors. Dries Vanthoor (born 20 April 1998 in Heusden-Zolder) is a racing driver from Belgium. He currently competes in the GT World Challenge Europe and ADAC GT Masters for Audi. He is the younger brother of Laurens, and was the winner of the 2018 Bathurst 12 Hour alongside Robin Frijns and Stuart Leonard. Kelvin Van Der Linde
Kelvin van der Linde (born 20 June 1996) is a South African racing driver currently competing as a substitute driver in Formula E with the ABT Team. He made his GT Masters debut in 2014, also winning the championship that year, a feat he repeated in 2019. He won the 2017 24 Hours of Nürburgring. Racing career Born and raised in South Africa, Kelvin van der Linde started his racing career in Karting at the age of 8 in 2005. In 2011, he became the youngest ever driver to compete in a National South African Circuit event at age 14 and then went on to become South Africa’s youngest ever National Champion at the age of 16 years and 128 days the following year. 2013 was a breakthrough year when he won his first International Championship. Benjamin Goethe (alternatively spelt Gøthe or Göthe, born 2 April 2003) is a Danish-German racing driver. He is the current champion of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup in the Silver Cup category. Early life Goethe and his younger brother Oliver were educated at Millfield School. Early career Karting Having been introduced to motorsport at a young age, Goethe started his karting career in 2015. He first raced in various regional and national competitions in France, before competing in a select few international events in 2017, his final year of kart racing.
