2021 Coahuila Elections
The 2021 Coahuila elections are scheduled to be held on June 6, 2021 to decide the 38 Municipalities of Mexico, Municipalities top level positions around the state. Municipal elections in Coahuila allow the people to elect members of the ''Ayuntamiento'' (City Council) in each municipality. These are called the 38 Municipal Presidents (Mayors), 74 ''sindicos'' and 400 ''regidores'' (city councilors). The term of office of councilors, the mayor and his deputies is, in principle, three years. The municipal elections are sanctioned by Electoral Institute of Coahuila since its creation in 2016. Municipalities Of Mexico
Municipalities (''municipios'' in Spanish language, Spanish) are the second-level administrative divisions of Mexico, where the first-level administrative division is the ''states of Mexico, state'' (Spanish: estado). They should not be confused with cities or towns that may share the same name as they are distinct entities and do not share geographical boundaries. Ecologist Green Party Of Mexico
The Ecological Green Party of Mexico ( es, Partido Verde Ecologista de México, , PVEM or PVE) is a green-conservative political party in Mexico. In the 2012 legislative elections, the party took 34 seats in the Chamber of Deputies (out of 500) and nine seats in the Senate (out of 128). During the 2012 Presidential election, PVEM supported Enrique Peña Nieto (EPN), the candidate from the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), who was elected. The Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD, es, Partido de la Revolución Democrática, ) is a social democratic political party in Mexico. Acuña Municipality
Acuña is one of the 38 municipalities of Coahuila, in north-eastern Mexico. The municipal seat lies at Ciudad Acuña, which contained over 98% of the municipality's population in 2010. The municipality covers an area of 11,487.7 km² and is located on the international border between Mexico and the USA, here formed by the Río Bravo del Norte (Rio Grande), adjacent to the U.S. state of Texas. The Labor Party ( es, Partido del Trabajo, , PT; also known as the Workers Party) is a political party in Mexico. It was founded on 8 December 1990. The party is currently led by Alberto Anaya.
