2021 Canberra Rugby League
Canberra Raiders Cup (First Grade) The 2021 Canberra Raiders Cup will be the 23rd season of the cup, the top division Rugby League club competition in Canberra. The 2021 Canberra Raiders Cup will consist of 18 regular season rounds that will begin on the 10th of April and end on the 28th of August. There will be 3 playoff rounds, beginning on the 4th of September with the first semi-final, and ending on the 19th of September with the grand final. Canberra Raiders U20s are the defending premiers. On 31 August, the Canberra Region Rugby League announced the cancellation of the remainder of the 2021 season due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Rugby League
Rugby league football, commonly known as just rugby league and sometimes football, footy, rugby or league, is a full-contact sport played by two teams of thirteen players on a rectangular field measuring 68 metres (75 yards) wide and 112–122 metres (122 to 133 yards) long with H shaped posts at both ends. Ken Nagas (born 18 June 1973) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. He played for the Canberra Raiders of the National Rugby League. Nagas primarily played on the . Canberra Raiders Nagas a Kyogle Turkeys junior, a or , started with the Raiders in 1992 with a single appearance on the wing in a loss to the Newcastle Knights. 1993 saw Nagas appear in nine games for Canberra where he scored 4 tries. Terry Campese
Terry Campese (born 4 August 1984) is a former professional rugby league footballer. A former Australia, Italy and New South Wales State of Origin representative , he is also the nephew of rugby union player David Campese. He previously played for the Canberra Raiders in the National Rugby League and Hull Kingston Rovers in the Super League. Early life Campese was born in Queanbeyan, New South Wales, Australia. He is of Italian descent. He grew up playing both league and union and always believed he would follow his uncle David in the 15-man code. Seiffert Oval
Seiffert Oval is an enclosed rectangular playing field in Queanbeyan, New South Wales. It has a grass playing surface and an official capacity of 15,000, 1,500 of which is seated capacity in the grandstand. The oval boasts lighting, toilets, kiosk, a food outlet, home and away change rooms and car parking facilities. The oval has been used for Rugby league, Soccer and Rugby Union and is currently the home ground for the Queanbeyan Blues. The oval is owned and managed by the Queanbeyan–Palerang Regional Council.
