2021 Calcutta Premier Division
The 2021 Calcutta Football League Premier Division A was the 123rd season of the top state-level football league of West Bengal. It was held between mid-August and November of 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was decided to cancel Calcutta League last season, but was played this year. Changes from last season Rules and regulations *Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic in West Bengal, the tournament format is shortened by adopting a league-cum-knockout format. The 14 participating teams would be divided into two groups and each team would play against all the other teams in their respective groups once. The top three teams from each group would earn a direct quarter final berth. The remaining four teams from each group would play against each other once for the last two quarter final spots. Mohammedan Sporting Club is an Indian multi-sports club based in Kolkata, West Bengal. Its football team competes in I-League, the second-tier of Indian football, as well as in Calcutta Football League (CFL), the oldest football league in Asia. Henry Kisekka
Henry Kisekka (born 31 August 1989) is a Ugandan professional footballer who plays as a forward for I-League club Aizawl. Club career Regarded as an important asset to Dong Nai's attacking line in 2012, he recorded 11 goals, helping his team achieve promotion. Kamo Stephane Bayi (born 17 August 1996) is an Ivorian professional footballer who plays as a forward. Career Bayi was born in the Ivory Coast, but started his career in Nigeria with Akwa Starlets. In 2016, he moved to India to play for Calcutta Football League side George Telegraph. Biswajit Bhattacharya
Biswajit Bhattacharya is a retired Indian professional footballer and football manager. He most recently managed Calcutta Football League club Calcutta Customs and is the current head coach of West Bengal football team. Playing career East Bengal Bhattacharya played as a striker in the India national football team and played for both the Calcutta Football League clubs East Bengal and Mohun Bagan.
