2020–21 Tottenham Hotspur F.C. Women Season
The 2020–21 Tottenham Hotspur F.C. Women season was the club's 36th season in existence and their second in the FA Women's Super League, the highest level of the football pyramid. Along with competing in the WSL, the club also contested two domestic cup competitions: the FA Cup and the League Cup. Josie Green was appointed captain following the retirement of Jenna Schillaci. Head coaches Karen Hills and Juan Amoros were relieved of their duties on 19 November with the club sat in 11th place in the league. Hills had been in charge of the first team since August 2009 while Spurs were playing in the then-third tier South East Combination Women's Football League. Amoros joined in February 2011. Tottenham () is a town in North London, England, within the London Borough of Haringey. It is located in the ceremonial county of Greater London. Josie Green (born 25 April 1993) is a Welsh professional footballer who plays for Leicester City in the Women's Super League. Early life Green was born in Hemel Hempstead, on 25 April 1993, to parents Clive and Liz. Club career Watford Green started her career at Watford F.C. Ladies and made her first appearance during the 2010/11 FA Women's National League season. Rachel Louise Williams (born 10 January 1988) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Manchester United of the English Women's Super League. Before rejoining Birmingham City in May 2017, Williams spent 2 years at Notts County Ladies, one year at Chelsea Ladies and three years at her first spell at Birmingham City, where she was converted from an attacking midfielder to a striker. Rianna Dean (born 21 October 1998) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Southampton in the FA Women's Championship. Club career Arsenal Dean came through the academy at Arsenal, scoring 37 goals in 20 games in the 2016/17 season with the Development Squad before confirming she was to leave at the end of the campaign in order to seek first team football. Chloe Anne Peplow (born 3 December 1998) is an English football midfielder who plays for Southampton. She has represented England on the under-17 and under-19 national teams. Gemma Suzanne Davison (born 17 April 1987) is an English footballer who plays as a winger. She has previously played for Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur and Reading whom she joined from Chelsea in 2018. Kerys Julia Harrop (born 3 December 1990) is an English football central defender/ wing back who currently plays for Tottenham Hotspur in the FA WSL. Harrop has also been involved with the England national team at Under 19 and Under 23 level and was part of the Under 19 squad who won the European Championships in Belarus in 2009. Shelina Laura Zadorsky (born October 24, 1992) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a centre-back for FA Women's Super League club Tottenham Hotspur and the Canada national team.
