2020–21 Sacramento Kings Season
The 2020–21 Sacramento Kings season was the 76th season of the franchise, its 72nd season in the National Basketball Association (NBA), and its 36th in Sacramento. The Kings entered the season with the current longest NBA playoff appearance drought at 14 seasons, last qualifying in 2006. On August 14, Vlade Divac resigned from his position as general manager and Monte McNair was named as his replacement on September 17. For the 15th season in a row, the Sacramento Kings failed to reach the playoffs, tying the Los Angeles Clippers for the longest NBA playoff drought and thus became the first team in NBA history to reach a 70 year title drought, not winning a title since 1951. Luke Theodore Walton (born March 28, 1980) is an American professional basketball coach and former player who is an assistant coach for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played 10 seasons in the NBA as a forward (basketball), forward, winning two NBA championships with the Los Angeles Lakers. The Texas Tech Red Raiders basketball team represents Texas Tech University in basketball. Texas Tech competes in NCAA Division I, and has been a charter member of the Big 12 Conference since its first season in 1996. Kyle Joseph Guy (born August 11, 1997) is an American professional basketball player for the Joventut Badalona of the Liga ACB. The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official List of developmental and minor sports leagues, minor league basketball organization. The league was known as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL) from 2001 to 2005, and the NBA Development League (NBA D-League) from 2005 until 2017. Roy Rana (born December 8, 1968) is a Canadian professional basketball coach who is the head coach for the Kyoto Hannaryz of the B.League and head coach of the Egyptian men's national basketball team.
