2020–21 Primera Divisió
The 2020–21 Primera Divisió was the 26th season of top-tier football in Andorra. The season was initially scheduled to begin on 25 October 2020 and end in May 2021. Due to new restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic in Andorra, the start of the season was delayed. The season began on 29 November 2020. The league winner qualified to participate in the 2021–22 UEFA Champions League. Inter Club d'Escaldes were the defending Primera Divisió champions. Teams Ordino were relegated from the Primera Divisió after finishing in last place the previous season. As Segona Divisió champions, Penya Encarnada were promoted to replace Ordino. Primera Divisió
The Primera Divisió (First Division) or Lliga Multisegur Assegurances for sponsorship reasons, is the top level of men's football in Andorra. The league was launched in 1995 sponsored by the local federation (Andorran Football Federation) which was created just one year before. Until then, clubs had played since 1970 in an amateur league without a structure or affiliation with any official institution. Since affiliation to UEFA and FIFA in 1996, Andorran clubs are able to compete in the UEFA competitions. Until 2015 the league was known as ''Lliga Grup Becier'' and during 2016 ''Lliga Grup Sant Eloi''. It was renamed in 2017 as Lliga Multisegur Assegurances for sponsorship reasons. All the teams in the league play in the same stadiums owned by the federation. The same occurs in all other Andorran competitions, such as the Copa Constitució and Andorran Supercup, Supercopa. Atlètic Club D'Escaldes
Atlètic Club d'Escaldes, also commonly known as Atlètic d'Escaldes, is an Andorran football club based in Escaldes-Engordany, currently playing in Primera Divisió. History Atlètic Club d'Escaldes was founded on 20 May 2002 in Escaldes-Engordany joining Segona Divisió the same year. At the end of 2003–04 season the club was promoted to Primera Divisió. During three seasons the club was playing in the top flight until 2006–07 season when it was relegated to Segona Divisió. The 2020–21 Segona Divisió, also known as Lliga UNIDA, was the 22nd season of second-tier football in Andorra. The season was scheduled to begin on 25 October 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Andorra, the season was delayed to potentially begin on 8 November 2020. Eventually, the season began on 29 November 2020. Teams Penya Encarnada won the league the previous season, and were promoted to the Primera Divisió. Ordino were relegated from the Primera Divisió and joined the Segona Divisió. 2021 Copa Constitució
The 2021 Copa Constitució was the 29th edition of the Andorran national football knockout tournament. The opening round of this edition of the cup was played on 17 February 2021. Inter Club d'Escaldes were the defending champions after winning the final over FC Santa Coloma by a score of 2–0. Schedule First round Eight clubs competed in the first round.
