2020–21 PGA Tour
The 2020–21 PGA Tour was the 106th season of the PGA Tour, and the 54th since separating from the PGA of America. The season began on September 10, 2020. The 2021 FedEx Cup Playoffs began on August 19, and concluded on September 5, 2021. Because of rescheduling during the 2019–20 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, six major championships occurred during the timeframe of the 2020–21 season, with two editions of both the U.S. Open and Masters Tournament, as well as the 2020 Summer Olympics. As such, the PGA Tour marketed this season as a "super season". By winning the Tour Championship, Patrick Cantlay became the FedEx Cup champion. The Tour Championship was his fourth tournament victory of the season, following earlier successes in the Zozo Championship, the Memorial Tournament and the BMW Championship. Patrick Cantlay
Patrick Cantlay (born March 17, 1992) is an American professional golfer. He had a successful amateur career and was the number one golfer in the World Amateur Golf Ranking for 55 weeks. He has won eight times on the PGA Tour as well as the 2021 FedEx Cup. He is a member of the 2022 class of the UCLA Athletics Hall of Fame. Early life and amateur career Cantlay was born in Long Beach, California to Steve and Colleen (Naylan) Cantlay, He has a sister, Caroline, and two brothers, Nick and Jack Cantlay. He attended Servite High School where he won the California State High School Championship as a senior. Korn Ferry Tour Championship
The Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by United Leasing & Finance is the year-end golf tournament of the Korn Ferry Tour. It has been played at a variety of courses; starting in 2019 it will be played at Victoria National Golf Club in Newburgh, Indiana as part of a 10-year deal. Since the 2008 edition, the purse has been $1,000,000, with the winner receiving $180,000. The format of the tournament is stroke play at 18 holes for four days, a total of 72 holes. Originally, the field consisted of the top 60 players on the money list, all attempting to be among the 25 to earn PGA Tour cards. The Arnold Palmer Invitational is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour. It is played each March at the Bay Hill Club and Lodge, a private golf resort owned since 1974 by Arnold Palmer in Bay Hill, a suburb southwest of Orlando, Florida. The event was founded in 1979 as a successor to the Florida Citrus Open Invitational, which debuted in 1966 and was played at Rio Pinar Country Club, east of Orlando, through 1978. Genesis Invitational
The Genesis Invitational is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour in southern California, first played in 1926 as the Los Angeles Open. Other previous names include Genesis Open, Northern Trust Open and Nissan Open. The WGC Match Play, currently titled as the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play for sponsorship reasons, is a professional men's golf tournament that has been held since 1999. It is the only one of the World Golf Championships to have been contested using the match play format. Since 2016, it has been held at the Austin Country Club in Austin, Texas, United States. 2021 Masters Tournament
The 2021 Masters Tournament was the 85th edition of the Masters Tournament and the first of the men's four major golf championships held in 2021. It was held from April 8–11, 2021, at the Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia. The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour, held annually at Pebble Beach, California, near Carmel.
