2020–21 Kategoria E Parë
The 2020–21 Kategoria e Parë was the 73rd official season of the Albanian football second-tier since its establishment. The season began on 4 November 2020 and ended on 26 May 2021. There were 18 teams competing this season, split in 2 groups, each with 9 teams. The 2 winners of each group gained promotion to the 2021-22 Kategoria Superiore, and played the division's final against each other. The runners-up of each group played a play-off match between them. The winners of the play-off played another promotion play-off match against the 8th ranked team of the 2020–21 Kategoria Superiore. Dinamo Tirana and Egnatia were promoted to the 2021–22 Kategoria Superiore. Elbasani, Flamurtari, Oriku, Partizani B and Veleçiku were relegated to the 2021–22 Kategoria e Dytë. Egnatia won their second Kategoria e Parë title on 22 May 2021 after beating Dinamo Tirana in the final match. Kategoria E Parë
Kategoria e Parë is the second level of professional football in Albania, behind the Kategoria Superiore and above the Kategoria e Dytë. Format Kategoria e Parë was founded in 1930. It is made up of 14 teams. The 2 best ranked teams gain promotion to the Kategoria Superiore, while the teams ranked from the 3rd to the 6th position qualify to a play-off tournament where the winner then plays a promotion play-off match against the 8th ranked team of Kategoria Superiore. The 2021–22 Kategoria e Parë is the 74th official season of the Albanian football second-tier since its establishment. The season began on 11 September 2021 and ended on 7 May 2022. There are 16 teams competing this season. The winning and runner-up teams will gain promotion to the Kategoria Superiore, 2022-23 Kategoria Superiore. The promotion play-offs winner will play a promotion play-off match against the 8th ranked team of the 2021–22 Kategoria Superiore. KF Luftëtari
KF Luftëtari (), also known as Luftëtari FC or simply Luftëtari was an Albanian football club based in Gjirokastër, southern Albania. The club was founded on 1926 as Shqiponja Gjirokastër and has played at its home ground, the Gjirokastra Stadium, since 1973. They last competed in the Kategoria Superiore, the first tier of football in the country. History Early history The club was founded in 1926 under the name ''Shqiponja Gjirokastër''. KF Shkumbini
KF Shkumbini is an Albanian football club based in the city of Peqin. The club's home ground is the Shkumbini Stadium and they compete in the Kategoria e Dytë. History Football was first introduced to the city of Peqin in the early 1920s after an army officer from Shkodër brought along a ball with him. An amateur club was formed in 1924 by Adem Bedali and other local men who had begun playing football. In the club's infancy they played friendly games with teams from other cities in Albania, before the creation of the Albanian Football Association in 1930 who organised the first official football competitions in the country. Shkumbini's first trophy came in 1936 when they defeated Apolonia Fier to win the Kategoria e Dytë. Klubi i Futbollit Iliria Fushë-Krujë is an Albanian football club based in the small town of Fushë-Krujë. The club plays its home games at the Redi Maloku Stadium and they currently compete in the Kategoria e Dytë, the third tier of Albanian football. KF Devolli
KF Devolli is an Albanian football club based in the small municipality of Devoll, Korçë. History Bilisht Sport ''Klubi i Futbollit Devolli'' was founded in 1927 and played under the name ''Devolli Bilisht''. They were renamed to just ''Bilishti'' between 1949 and 1950, before changing to ''Puna Bilisht'' between 1951 and 1958. The club then reverted its name back to ''Devolli Bilisht'' in 1958 which it kept until 2006 when they change their name to ''Klubi Futbollitik Bilisht Sport''. Kategoria e Dytë is the third professional level of football in Albania. It was called the ''Second Division'' until 2003. Kategoria e Dytë has two groups, A and B. which are divided geographically. It is made up of 23 teams. The winners of each group earn the right to be promoted to the Kategoria e Parë and they also play a single final for seasonal champions. KS Kastrioti, also known as Kastrioti Krujë, is an Albanian football club based in the city of Krujë. The club's home ground is the Kastrioti Stadium which has a capacity of 8,000 spectators and they currently compete in the Kategoria Superiore. KF Apolonia is an Albanian football club based in Fier. The club was founded on 17 June 1925 and took its name from the nearby ruins of the ancient city of Apollonia. The club currently compete in the Kategoria e Parë and they play their home games at the Loni Papuçiu Stadium. 2021–22 Kategoria E Dytë
The 2021-22 Kategoria e Dytë was the 50th official season of the Albanian football third division since its establishment. There were 24 teams competing this season, split in 2 groups. The winners of the groups played the league's final against each other and also gained promotion to the 2022–23 Kategoria e Parë. Teams ranked from the 2nd to the 5th position qualified to the play-off round which they played against the 11th and 12th ranked teams in the 2021–22 Kategoria e Parë. Flamurtari, Luzi 2008 and Oriku were promoted to the 2022–23 Kategoria e Parë. Flamurtari won their first Kategoria e Dytë title after beating Luzi 2008 in the final match.
