2020–21 Deportivo Alavés Season
The 2020–21 season was the 100th season in the existence of Deportivo Alavés and the club's fifth consecutive season in the top flight of Spanish football. In addition to the domestic league, Alavés participated in this season's edition of the Copa del Rey. The season covered the period from 20 July 2020 to 30 June 2021, with the late start to the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Spain. Deportivo Alavés, S.A.D. (; ''Sporting Alavés''), usually abbreviated to Alavés, is a List of football clubs in Spain, Spanish football club based in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Álava, in the Autonomous communities of Spain, autonomous community of the Basque Country (autonomous community), Basque Country. Luis Rioja
Luis Jesús Rioja González (born 16 October 1993) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for Deportivo Alavés as a left winger. Career Rioja was born in Las Cabezas de San Juan, Seville, Andalusia, and was a CD Cabecense youth graduate. He made his senior debut on 2 September 2012, playing the last 22 minutes of a 2–0 Tercera División home win against Cádiz CF B. Rioja scored his first senior goal on 18 November 2012, in a 4–0 home routing of Arcos CF, and finished the campaign with four goals in 35 appearances. On 27 June of the following year, he signed a three-year deal with Real Madrid and was assigned to the C-team in Segunda División B. On 27 July 2014 Rioja joined another reserve team, Celta de Vigo B in the third division. On 4 January 2017, he moved to fellow league team Marbella FC. John Guidetti
John Alberto Guidetti (, ; born 15 April 1992) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a striker for AIK. Whilst growing up Guidetti played football in his native Sweden as well as Kenya. He returned to Sweden in 2008 and played with IF Brommapojkarna when at the age of 16 he earned a move to English club Manchester City. He spent time out on loan back at Brommapojkarna and with Championship side Burnley in November 2010. Tomás Pina
Tomás Pina Isla (born 14 October 1987) is a Spanish professional footballer who currently plays as a central midfielder for Chinese Super League club Henan Songshan Longmen. He amassed La Liga totals of 301 matches and eight goals over 12 seasons, with Mallorca, Villarreal and Alavés. He also played in Belgium and China. Club career Mallorca Pina was born in Villarta de San Juan, Ciudad Real, Castile-La Mancha.
