The 2020–21 season is Bolton Wanderers F.C., Bolton Wanderers's first season in the fourth tier of English football since 1987–88 Football League#Fourth Division, 1988, and only their second overall, following their relegation from EFL League One to EFL League Two. It covers the period from 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021. Bolton Wanderers F
Bolton (, locally ) is a large town in Greater Manchester in North West England, formerly a part of Lancashire. A former mill town, Bolton has been a production centre for textiles since Flemish people, Flemish weavers settled in the area in the 14th century, introducing a wool and cotton-weaving tradition. The urbanisation and development of the town largely coincided with the introduction of textile manufacture during the Industrial Revolution. Bolton was a 19th-century boomtown and, at its zenith in 1929, its 216 cotton mills and 26 bleaching and dyeing works made it one of the largest and most productive centres of Spinning (textiles), cotton spinning in the world. Ricardo Alexandre Almeida Santos (born 18 June 1995) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a defender for Bolton Wanderers. Career Santos was a youth team player at Dagenham & Redbridge, making one appearance in the matchday squad, before he was released and signed by Thurrock manager Mark Stimson, following a spell at Dover Athletic where he made no appearances. He impressed for the Isthmian League club, making 24 appearances, and was signed by Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson on three-and-a-half-year contract in February 2014. Peterborough paid £8000 for him. He made his League One debut on 3 May in a 0–0 draw with Port Vale at London Road. Arthur Bertrand Gnahoua (born 18 September 1992) is a French footballer who plays as a winger or centre-forward He has previously played in the Football League for Bolton Wanderers, Shrewsbury Town, Carlisle United, Macclesfield Town, Morecambe and Grimsby Town, as well as at non-League level for Stalybridge Celtic, Colwyn Bay, Kidderminster Harriers and AFC Fylde. Lloyd Isgrove
Lloyd Jeffrey Isgrove (born 12 January 1993) is a professional footballer who plays for Bolton Wanderers. Isgrove plays primarily as a winger, but he is also comfortable playing in other midfield positions and as a forward. He has one cap for Wales. Dennis Dorian Politic (born 5 March 2000) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Liga I club Dinamo București. Internationally, Politic earned caps for Romania at under-17 level. Politic joined the academy of Manchester United from hometown side Brașov at age 12. He then moved to Bolton Wanderers, with which he recorded his professional debut in 2018 after a loan stint at Salford City. Harry William Brockbank (born 26 September 1998) is an English footballer who plays as a defender for National League North side Radcliffe. Early life Brockbank was educated at Turton School. Shaun Robert Miller (born 25 September 1987) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for Kidsgrove Athletic. Miller began his career at Crewe Alexandra before moving to Sheffield United in 2012 and Coventry City in 2014. He also spent time on loan at Witton Albion, Shrewsbury Town and York City. Ronan Thomas Darcy (born 4 November 2000) is an English professional footballer who plays for club Crawley Town. Career Bolton Wanderers Darcy signed for the Bolton Wanderers Academy in 2008 at the age of 9. Reiss James Greenidge (born 8 February 1996) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for club Maidstone United. Born in England, he represents the Guyana national team. Antoni Charles Sarcevic (born 13 March 1992) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Stockport County.
