The 2020 Tour de l'Ain was a men's road bicycle racing, road bicycle race that took place from 7 to 9 August 2020 in the Ain department in France. The winner was Primož Roglič. 2020 UCI Europe Tour
The 2020 UCI Europe Tour is the sixteenth season of the UCI Europe Tour. The 2020 season began on 25 January 2020 with the GP Belek and ended on 14 October 2020 with the 2020 Scheldeprijs, Scheldeprijs. Throughout the season, points are awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. The quality and complexity of a race also determines how many points are awarded to the top finishers, the higher the UCI rating of a race, the more points are awarded. The UCI race classifications, UCI ratings from highest to lowest are as follows: * Multi-day events: 2.Pro, 2.1 and 2.2 * One-day events: 1.Pro, 1.1 and 1.2 Events January February March April–June No race were held due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Ceyzériat () is a commune in the Ain department, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in eastern France. Ceyzériat station has rail connections to Bourg-en-Bresse and Oyonnax. Tom Dumoulin (; born 11 November 1990) is a retired Dutch professional road bicycle racer who last rode for UCI WorldTeam . He has won nine stages across the three Grand Tours, five medals in three different World Championships and two Olympic silver medals. Known for his time-trialing ability, Dumoulin excelled in climbing and was viewed by many as a climbing specialist.
