2020 TCR Denmark Touring Car Series
The 2020 TCR Denmark Touring Car Series (known for sponsorship reasons as the 2020 HC Container TCR Denmark Touring Car Series) is the inaugural season of the TCR Denmark Touring Car Series. The season started on the 18/19 April at Jyllandsringen and will end on the 10/11 October at Padborg Park. Calendar Five events are set to take place in Denmark. Two of the former rounds were scheduled to be supporting the STCC TCR Scandinavia Touring Car Championship. Each round will consist of three 15-minute and 1-lap races, the starting order for the first race will be based on the results from qualifying while the second race will utilise a reversed grid of the top eight cars from qualifying. The third and final race will have its grid decided by the most points gathered from the first two races. The TCR Denmark Touring Car Series is a touring car racing series based in Denmark. The TCR Denmark Touring Car Series debuted in 2020, running five events. Background The TCR Touring Car formula is recognised as a popular and affordable type of series in motorsport. The TCR Denmark Touring Car Championship will open up new opportunities for Danish drivers and will be a new way for national drivers to move up to larger TCR international series among more professional drivers. The British GT Championship is a sports car racing series based predominantly in the United Kingdom. The series was originally created by the British Racing Drivers' Club in 1993 and, for its first two seasons, was known as the National Sports GT Challenge. 2019 TCR Scandinavia Touring Car Championship
The 2019 TCR Scandinavia Touring Car Championship was the ninth overall season of the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship season, the third under the internationally recognised TCR formula, and the first with its new promoter. The season started at Ring Knutstorp on 4 May and ended at Mantorp Park on 5 October, after six rounds across Sweden.
