2020 Scottish Women's Premier League Cup
The 2020 Scottish Women's Premier League Cup was the 18th edition of the SWPL Cup competition, which began in 2002. It was known as the ''Scottish Building Society Scottish Women's Premier League Cup'' for sponsorship reasons. The competition was to be contested by all 18 teams of the two divisions of the Scottish Women's Premier League (SWPL 1 and SWPL 2). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the competition was halted in March and abandoned in July 2020 without a winner. Format In a change to the format, the first and second teams in the 2019 Scottish Women's Premier League received a bye to the quarter-finals. The remaining teams in SWPL1 and SWPL2 were divided into four groups of four teams. The group winners and the two runners-up with the best records would advance to the quarter-finals. K-Park Training Academy
K-Park Training Academy is a training ground in the St Leonards area of East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire. It is located within the site of Calderglen Country Park. It is the home ground of Lowland Football League team East Kilbride. History K-Park was opened in May 2011 by the East Kilbride Community Trust (EKCT), who had previously drawn up plans that would give the large town a top-quality, UEFA-standard sports facility. Former Rangers and Scotland footballer Ally McCoist, who is from East Kilbride, officially opened the first phase of the new facility on 25 September 2011. K-Park is used as the home ground for the newly formed football club East Kilbride F.C., who were founded in 2010, one year before the facility's official opening. Ainslie Park is a football stadium located in Edinburgh, Scotland, which is the home ground of Lowland Football League club Spartans and the club's women's team in the Scottish Women's Premier League (SWPL).
