2020 Scottish Women's Premier League
The 2020 Scottish Women's Premier League, known as the Scottish Building Society Scottish Women's Premier League for sponsorship reasons, was due to be the 19th season of the Scottish Women's Premier League, the highest division of women's association football in Scotland since its inception in 2002. The league was split into two divisions - SWPL 1 with eight teams and SWPL 2 with 10 teams. Glasgow City are the defending champions. Heart of Midlothian joined the SWPL 1 as the promoted club from the 2019 SWPL 2, replacing Stirling University. Aberdeen, Queen's Park and Boroughmuir Thistle joined the SWPL 2 as the promoted clubs from the SWFL. No teams were relegated as the league was expanded from eight teams to 10. Oriam is Scotland's national performance centre for sport, based at Heriot-Watt University's Riccarton campus in Edinburgh. Petershill Park
Petershill Park is a leisure centre and football stadium located in the Springburn suburb of Glasgow, the largest city in Scotland. It has a third generation full-size outdoor football pitch, and has floodlights. It is host to the men's West of Scotland Football League football sides Petershill and Rossvale. Scott Booth
Scott Booth (born 16 December 1971) is a Scottish football coach and former player, who is the head coach of Lewes in the Women's Championship. A forward by position, he began his playing career at Aberdeen as a teenager, before moving to Germany in 1997 to play for Borussia Dortmund. After a spell in the Netherlands with FC Twente (as well as loans from Dortmund to FC Utrecht and Vitesse Arnhem), he returned to Aberdeen in 2003, retiring a year later due to injury. After his retirement as a player Booth became a coach, working with the Scotland youth teams. After a year as manager of Stenhousemuir he moved into women's football, becoming manager of Glasgow City. Booth left this position in June 2021 to become manager of FA WSL club Birmingham City, but was sacked five months later. He was appointed by Lewes in May 2022. Station Park is a football ground in Forfar, Angus, Scotland. It is home to Scottish Professional Football League side Forfar Athletic and to Forfar Farmington of the Scottish Women's Premier League. Station Park is one of a number of old fashioned football grounds left in the Scottish League. It has a capacity of although this has previously been much higher. Forfar ( sco, Farfar, gd, Baile Fharfair) is the county town of Angus, Scotland and the administrative centre for Angus Council, with a new multi-million pound office complex located on the outskirts of the town. K-Park Training Academy
K-Park Training Academy is a training ground in the St Leonards area of East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire. It is located within the site of Calderglen Country Park. It is the home ground of Lowland Football League team East Kilbride. History K-Park was opened in May 2011 by the East Kilbride Community Trust (EKCT), who had previously drawn up plans that would give the large town a top-quality, UEFA-standard sports facility.
