Bruce Barnum
Bruce Eugene Barnum (born April 13, 1964) is an American football coach who is the current head coach for the Portland State Vikings college football team. Early life and education Born in Vancouver, Washington, Barnum graduated from Columbia River High School in Vancouver in 1982. He then attended Eastern Washington University and participated on the scout team of the Eastern Washington Eagles football team for two seasons. Barnum completed his bachelor's degree in education and history at Eastern Washington University in 1987 and M.Ed. at Western Washington University in 1991. Coaching career Barnum began his coaching career as a high school assistant coach in Washington state, first at Central Valley High School in Spokane Valley in 1986 then with his alma mater Columbia River High School from 1987 to 1988. Hillsboro Stadium
Hillsboro Stadium is a multi-sport stadium in the northwest United States, located in Hillsboro, Oregon, a suburb west of Portland. Opened in 1999 and owned by the city of Hillsboro, the award-winning stadium is part of the Gordon Faber Recreation Complex located in the northeast part of the city, adjacent to the Sunset Highway. The 2020–21 NCAA Division I FCS football season, part of college football in the United States, was organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) level. The regular season and postseason were impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States. Multiple FCS conferences moved their scheduled games from the fall of 2020 to the spring of 2021, and in August 2020, the NCAA announced that the FCS postseason would also be delayed. While the NCAA at one point announced a cancellation of the FCS playoff, in late September 2020 a revised playoff schedule was announced, with the FCS Championship Game played on May 16, 2021. The Big Sky Conference (BSC) is a collegiate athletic conference affiliated with the NCAA's Division I with football competing in the Football Championship Subdivision.
