2020 Ole Miss Rebels Football Team
The 2020 Ole Miss Rebels football team represented the University of Mississippi in the 2020 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Rebels played their home games at Vaught–Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi, and competed in the Western Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). They were led by first-year head coach Lane Kiffin. Previous season The Rebels finished the 2019 season 4–8, 2–6 in SEC play to finish in sixth place in the Western Division. Head coach Matt Luke was fired on December 1, 2019 following an overall three-year record of 15–21 and SEC record of 6–18. Lane Kiffin
Lane Monte Kiffin (born May 9, 1975) is an American football coach who is currently the head coach of the Ole Miss Rebels. Kiffin formerly was the offensive coordinator for the USC Trojans football team from 2005 to 2006, head coach of the National Football League's Oakland Raiders from 2007 to 2008, head coach of the University of Tennessee Volunteers college football team in 2009, and head coach of the Trojans from 2010 to 2013. He was the youngest head coach in modern NFL history at the time when he joined the Raiders (until in 2017 when Sean McVay joined the Rams), and, for a time, was the youngest head coach of a BCS Conference team in college football. Seminary is a town in Covington County, Mississippi, United States. The population was 314 at the 2010 census. Okatoma Creek, part of the Pascagoula River watershed, runs through Seminary, and is popular for canoeing and kayaking. History 1846-1890 The area was sparsely populated prior to the Civil War. In the same location as where the town sits today, Covington County resident and Presbyterian pastor A. R. Graves opened Zion Seminary, a boarding school for men and women, in 1845. Jones College is a public community college in Ellisville, Mississippi. Louisville, Mississippi
Louisville (pronounced LEW-iss-vill) is a city in Winston County, Mississippi. The population was 6,631 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Winston County.
