2020 La Drôme Classic
The 2020 Royal Bernard Drôme Classic was the 7th edition of the La Drôme Classic cycle race. It was held on 1 March 2020 as a category 1.Pro race on the 2020 UCI Europe Tour and 2020 UCI ProSeries. The race started and finished in Livron-sur-Drôme. The race was won by Australian rider Simon Clarke of , who outsprinted French rider Warren Barguil of and Italian rider Vincenzo Nibali of . 2020 UCI Europe Tour
The 2020 UCI Europe Tour is the sixteenth season of the UCI Europe Tour. The 2020 season began on 25 January 2020 with the GP Belek and ended on 14 October 2020 with the 2020 Scheldeprijs, Scheldeprijs. Throughout the season, points are awarded to the top finishers of stages within stage races and the final general classification standings of each of the stages races and one-day events. The quality and complexity of a race also determines how many points are awarded to the top finishers, the higher the UCI rating of a race, the more points are awarded. Lilian Calmejane (born 6 December 1992) is a French cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . He is best known for winning stages at the Tour de France in 2017 and the Vuelta a España in 2016. Career Born in Albi, Calmejane turned professional in 2016 with , and in August, he won the fourth stage of the Vuelta a España, his first ride in a Grand Tour. In 2017, the second win of his career came at the Étoile de Bessèges where he won stage 3 and the overall race. At the start of March, Calmejane won the Mountains classification at Paris–Nice. Tanel Kangert
Tanel Kangert (born 11 March 1987) is an Estonian former road bicycle racer, who competed as a professional from 2008 to 2022. Early life Kangert was born in Vändra, Estonia. He attended kindergarten alongside fellow Estonian cyclist Rein Taaramäe. Career Kangert signed his first professional contract with in 2008, after riding with the team as a stagiaire in the 2007 season. In the same year, he finished first in the Estonian National Time Trial Championships. However during 2008 he also suffered from severe pain in both of his knees, requiring surgery to allow them to move more naturally. This forced him to race as an amateur during the 2010 season. In 2011, Kangert signed for the Kazakh team . In 2012, he won the final stage of the Tour de Suisse, beating Jérémy Roy in a sprint after the pair had attacked from a breakaway group earlier in the race. Sean Bennett (born March 31, 1996) is an American former cyclist, who competed as a professional between 2015 and 2022. Career In February 2018, Bennett was offered a contract with UCI Professional Continental team , following the departure of Adrien Costa from the team. He joined the team on February 5, leaving his previous team, . He made his UCI World Tour debut in the 2018 Tour of California, finishing in second on stage 3. 2020 UCI ProSeries
The 2020 UCI ProSeries is the inaugural season of the UCI ProSeries, the second tier road bicycle racing, road cycling tour, below the UCI World Tour, but above the various regional UCI Continental Circuits. The 2020 season initially consisted of 58 events of which 31 are one-day races (1.Pro) and 27 are stage races (2.Pro). There are 50 events in Europe, 5 in Asia, and 3 in America. UCI WorldTour
The UCI WorldTour (2009–2010: ''UCI World Ranking'') is the premier men's elite road cycling tour, sitting above the UCI ProSeries and various regional UCI Continental Circuits.
