2020 Italian F4 Championship
The 2020 Italian F4 Championship Powered by Abarth was the seventh season of the Italian F4 Championship. Gabriele Minì won the drivers' championship in his rookie season while his team Prema Powerteam won the teams' championship for the fifth time. Teams and drivers Race calendar and results The calendar was revealed on 16 September 2019. Following a delayed start to the season due to the 2019-20 coronavirus pandemic, a new calendar was announced on 19 May 2020. On 3 June 2020 it was announced that the season opener at Hungaroring was pushed back 2 weeks. The final calendar was released on 11 June 2020, with Hungaroring no longer on the schedule. Championship standings Points were awarded to the top 10 classified finishers in each race. No points were awarded for pole position or fastest lap. Italian F4 Championship
Italian Formula 4 Championship is the first formula racing series regulated according to FIA Formula 4 regulations. The inaugural season was the 2014 Italian F4 Championship, effectively replacing the Formula Abarth. History Gerhard Berger and the FIA Singleseater Commission launched the FIA Formula 4 in March 2013. The goal of the Formula 4 is to make the ladder to Formula 1 more transparent. Besides sporting and technical regulations, costs are regulated too. A car to compete in this category may not exceed €30,000 in purchase. A single season in Formula 4 may not exceed €100,000 in costs. The Italian Formula 4 was the first FIA Formula 4 championship to be launched. The Italian championship was launched by the ACI-CSAI on December 12, 2013. WSK Promotions, well known for its kart races in the WSK Euro Series e.a., was contracted to promote the championship. He is a member of the Red Bull Junior Team and finished as runner-up in the 2020 ADAC Formula 4 Championship. Joshua Dürksen
Joshua Dürksen (born 27 October 2003) is a Paraguayan-German racing driver currently racing for Arden Motorsport in the Formula Regional European Championship. Career Formula 4 2019 In 2019 Dürksen made his single-seater debut, racing for Mücke Motorsport in the Formula 4 UAE Championship alongside Nico Göhler. He scored his first victory at the first round of the championship at the Dubai Autodrome and won four more races over the course of the campaign. The Paraguayan lost out on the title to Matteo Nannini, finishing 68 points behind his rival. Dürksen then competed in both the Italian and ADAC Formula 4 championships. Mücke Motorsport is an auto racing team based in Germany, which is also known as ADAC Berlin-Brandenburg. History Single-seaters Mücke Motorsport was formed by Peter Mücke in 1998 to run his son Stefan Mücke in the German Formula BMW ADAC series, in which they were champions. Axel Gnos (born 30 April 2003) is a Swiss-French racing driver of Vietnamese descent, who drives for G4 Racing in the Formula Regional European Championship. Career Lower formulae Gnos made his car racing debut in the 2018 Italian F4 Championship with AS Motorsport, where he raced in two rounds. In 2019 he drove in both the Italian and Spanish F4 championships, for Jenzer Motorsport and G4 Racing respectively. Piotr Wiśnicki (; born 20 August 2003) is a Polish racing driver who is competing in the 2024 FIA Formula 3 Championship for Rodin Motorsport, having previously competed in the series in 2023 for PHM Racing by Charouz.
