2020 Indy Pro 2000 Championship
The 2020 Indy Pro 2000 Championship will be the 22nd season in series history. An 18-round schedule was announced on 12 September 2019, featuring six permanent road courses, two street circuits, and two ovals. Except for the two Indianapolis-area rounds, they are NTT IndyCar Series support races. The Indianapolis road course race is a Stand alone race due to the NASCAR Cup Series Big Machine 400 weekend is combined with the GMR Grand Prix weekend as a double header so that weekend is full, and the Lucas Oil Raceway round, normally held on Indianapolis 500 weekend, is part of the USAC Silver Crown Series Dave Steele Classic round. RP Motorsport USA withdrew from the series this season because of travel restrictions due to the 2019-20 coronavirus pandemic. Sting Ray Robb
Sting Ray Robb (born September 3, 2001) is an American racing driver. He competes in the IndyCar Series, driving the No. 51 Dallara-Honda for Dale Coyne Racing with Rick Ware Racing. Racing career Karting Robb received a go-kart at age five, kickstarting his racing career. He started running nationally at age eight, entering Cadet division events from 2010 to 2013. During his first season in the Junior ranks, he finished second in America and raced in Valencia, Spain. Robb won a national championship in Rotax Junior Max karting in 2015. He also raced go-karts in Portugal. Junior open-wheel formulae Robb switched from go-kart racing to car racing in 2016. He joined the then-Pro Mazda Championship with World Speed Motorsports in 2017. Robb ran a full Pro Mazda season in 2018 with Team Pelfrey. On February 17, 2019, Robb was confirmed to join Juncos Racing as a part of their Indy Pro 2000 roster. Hunter McElrea (born 21 November 1999 in Los Angeles, California, United States) is a New Zealand racing driver currently competing in Indy NXT for Andretti Autosport. Career Karting McElrea began his career in karting at the age of seven. Formula Ford In 2015, McElrea stepped up to single-seaters, competing in Formula Ford championships in both Australia and New Zealand, sometimes with the family outfit McElrea Racing. He is also the great-great grandson of Frederick Pabst, founder of the Pabst Brewing Company, and the great-great grandson of August Uihlein of Joseph Schlitz Brewing Company. Kody Swanson (born March 3, 1988) is an American professional sprint car racing driver. He is a seven-time USAC USAC Silver Crown Series champion in 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022, plus a three-time Little 500 winner.
