2020 FC Shakhter Karagandy Season
The 2020 FC Shakhter Karagandy season was the 30th successive season that the club played in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Kazakhstan. Shakhter Karagandy finished the season in 4th position and as a result qualified for the 2021–22 UEFA Europa Conference League. Season Events On 13 March, the Football Federation of Kazakhstan announced all league fixtures would be played behind closed doors for the foreseeable future due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 17 June Vyacheslav Hroznyi his role as manager by mutual consent, with Konstantin Gorovenka being appointed as his replacement the following day. On 26 June, it was announced that the league would resume on 1 July, with no fans being permitted to watch the games. Football Club Caspiy ( kk, Каспий Ақтау Футбол Клубы, ''Kaspıı Aqtaý Fýtbol Klýby'') is a Kazakhstani football club based at the Zhastar Stadium in Aktau. The club name derived from Caspian Sea ( kk, Каспий теңізі). Their best year was 1996, when they finished 4th in the Premier League and reached the semi-finals of the Kazakhstan Cup. Gideon Baah (born 1 October 1991) is a Ghanaian football coach and former player who played as a defender. He coaches FC Motown in the National Premier Soccer League. Club career Early career In 2007, Baah won a football reality show (MTN Soccer Academy) in his home country, Ghana. FC Stal Kamianske ( uk, Сталь Кам'янське) was a professional Ukrainian football club based in Kamianske, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine. After being relegated to the Ukrainian First League after the 2017–18 Ukrainian Premier League season, the club re-registered to Bucha and changed its name to PFC Feniks Bucha in June 2018.
