2020 Albanian Supercup
The 2020 Albanian Supercup was the 27th edition of the Albanian Supercup, an annual Albanian football match. The teams were decided by taking the previous season's Kategoria Superiore champions and the winners of the Albanian Cup. The match was contested by Tirana, champions of the 2019–20 Kategoria Superiore, and Teuta, the 2019–20 Albanian Cup winners. KF Tirana
Klubi i Futbollit Tirana (KF Tirana) is an Albanian football club based in the country's capital city, Tirana. The men's football club is part of the multi-disciplinary sports club SK Tirana, and is the most successful in Albania, having won 54 recognized major domestic trophies. They play their home games at the Selman Stërmasi Stadium in Tirana and they play in the Kategoria Superiore. The club was founded on 15 August 1920 as Sport Klub Tirana (in English: Sport Club Tirana), but then, they name changed to Shoqata e Futbollit Agimi (in English: Agimi Football Association) and they had since participated in List of unrelegated association football clubs, all the top tier national championships ever held in Albania. Albanian Cup
The Albanian Cup ( sq, Kupa e Shqipërisë) is the main "knockout" competition in Albanian football. The competition started in 1939 as Kupa e Mbretit (English:"The King's Cup"). Just after a year the cup was suspended as the Second World War started. It started again in 1948 as "Kupa e Republikes" (English: "Republic Cup") and from 1991 as "Kupa e Shqipërisë" (Albanian Cup). Today it is the second most important competition in Albania after the Kategoria Superiore. The winners of the Cup automatically earn the right to participate in the 1st qualifying round of the Europa Conference League. In association football, an assistant referee (previously known as a linesman or lineswoman) is an official empowered with assisting the referee (association football), referee in enforcing the Laws of the Game (association football), Laws of the Game during a match. Club career Early career Hebaj started his youth career at age of 14 with Vllaznia in September 2012 and was placed in under-15 team. Jurgen Vrapi (born 14 November 1998) is an Albanian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Vora. 2019–20 Albanian Cup () is the sixty-eighth season of Albania's annual cup competition. Kukësi are the defending champions. Teuta won the cup for the fourth time in their history. Format Ties are played in a two-legged format similar to those of European competitions. If the aggregate score is tied after both games, the team with the higher number of away goals advances. If the number of away goals is equal in both games, the match is decided by extra time and a penalty shoot-out, if necessary. Preliminary round In order to reduce the number of participating teams for the first round to 32, a preliminary tournament is played. The 2019–20 Kategoria Superiore was the 81st official season, or 84th season of top-tier football in Albania (including three unofficial championships during World War II) and the 20th season under the name Kategoria Superiore. The season began on 23 August 2019 and ended on 29 July 2020. Tirana, won the league title on 19 July 2020 with 2 matches to spare. The winners of this season's Kategoria Superiore earned a place in the first qualifying round of the 2020-21 Champions League, with the second and third placed clubs earning a place in the first qualifying round of the 2020-21 Europa League. Kategoria Superiore
The Kategoria Superiore, officially known as Abissnet Superiore for sponsorship reasons, is a professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Albanian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. It is contested by 10 clubs, and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Kategoria e Parë. Seasons run from August to May, with teams playing 36 matches each (playing each team in the league four times, twice at home and twice away). The competition was founded in 1930 as the Albanian National Championship during the reign of King Zog, shortly after the creation of the Albanian Football Association. Klubi Futbollistik Teuta Durrës, commonly referred to as Teuta, is an Albanian professional football club based in Durrës. They currently compete in the Kategoria Superiore and they play their home games at the Niko Dovana Stadium. The club was founded on 29 January 1920 as ''Klubi Sportiv Urani'' (Uranium Sport Club), and they were a founding member of the Albanian National Championship in 1930, as well as runners-up in the 1931 National Championship.
