2020 African Men's Handball Championship
The 2020 African Men's Handball Championship was the 24th edition of the African Men's Handball Championship and was held from 16 to 26 January 2020 in Tunisia. It acted as the African qualifying tournament for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo and 2021 World Men's Handball Championship in Egypt. Yehia El-Deraa
Yehia El-Deraa ( ar, يحيي الدرع; born 17 July 1995) is an Egyptian handball player who plays for Telekom Veszprém and the Egyptian national team. He represented Egypt at the World Men's Handball Championship in 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2021, and in the 2016 Summer Olympics. At the 2020 African Men's Handball Championship, he won the gold medal and was elected Most Valuable Player. 1979 African Men's Handball Championship
The 1979 African Men's Handball Championship was the third edition of the African Men's Handball Championship, held in Brazzaville, People's Republic of the Congo, from 20 to 31 July 1979. The competition is held every two years. It acted as the African qualifying tournament for the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow.
