2019–20 Women's EHF Cup
The 2019–20 Women's EHF Cup was the 39th edition of EHF's second-tier women's handball competition. It started on 7 September 2019. Siófok KC were defending champions. On 24 April 2020 EHF announced that the competition would be cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic. Overview Team allocation Round and draw dates The schedule of the competition will be as follows (all draws are held at the EHF headquarters in Vienna, Austria). On 25 March, the EHF announced that no matches will be played before June due to the coronavirus pandemic. Qualification stage Round 1 There are 32 teams were participating in round 1. The draw seeding pots were composed as follows: The first legs was played on 7–8 and the second legs was played on 14–15 September 2019. Women's EHF Cup
The Women's EHF European League is an annual competition for women's handball clubs of Europe. It is organized by the European Handball Federation, EHF. It is currently the second-tier competition of European club handball, ranking only below the Women's EHF Champions League, EHF Champions League. Previously called the Women's EHF Cup, the competition will be known as the Women's EHF European League from the 2020–21 season. History The first edition took place in 1981. It was called the IHF Cup until 1993. From the 2016–17 season, the competition merged with the Women's EHF Cup Winners' Cup, EHF Cup Winners' Cup. HC Kuban Krasnodar
HC Kuban Krasnodar is a Russian women's handball team from Krasnodar competing in the Russian Super League. Kuban enjoyed its golden era in the late 1980s, winning two Cup Winners' Cups in 1987 and 1988 by beating TSC Berlin and Vasas Budapest in the final, and reaching the 1990 European Cup's final, lost to Hypo Niederösterreich, after winning the 1989 Soviet Championship. Kuban also played a third unsuccessful Cup Winners' Cup final in 1989. Following the collapse of the Soviet Union Kuban won the transitional CIS Championship, but it hasn't been able to win the new Russian Super League to date. Between 1997 and 2000 the team was second to Istochnik Rostov and Aqva Volgograd, its best results. In 2000 it also reached its fourth Cup Winners' Cup's final, losing to Mar Valencia. Váci NKSE are a Hungarian women's handball club from Vác, that play in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I. Founded in 1949, the team have won promotion to the top-level championship first in 1998. Odense Håndbold (in its first season: Odense GOG and after that Handball Club Odense) is a Danish women's handball team, that plays in Damehåndboldligaen, Denmark's premier women's handball league. It was created in August 2009 and took over GOG Svendborg TGI's license for the league, which was published in a press meeting August 27, 2009 in Odense Idrætshal.
