2019–20 Third Amateur Football League (Bulgaria)
The 2019–20 Third Amateur Football League season was the 70th season of the Bulgarian Third Amateur Football League. The group is equivalent to the third level of the Bulgarian football pyramid with four divisions existing in it. The divisions themselves are geographically separated into ''North-West'', ''North-East'', ''South-East'', and ''South-West'', covering the football clubs of their respective zones. This is the second season after the reorganization of the Bulgarian football system, which saw the emergence of new competition formats, such as First and Second Professional Football Leagues. The matches were suspended on 13 March 2020 as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. On 21 April 2020, the Bulgarian Football Union decided that the league will not be completed and the standings prior to the suspension of the fixtures were considered final. Third Amateur Football League (Bulgaria)
The Bulgarian Third Amateur Football League ( bg, Трета аматьорска футболна лига, Treta Amat'orska Futbolna Liga), commonly referred to as Third League ( bg, Трета лига) or Treta liga, is the third level of the Bulgarian football league system. Third League operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the second and the fourth tier of the Bulgarian football league pyramid – respectively being Second League and the A Oblast Groups. Currently Third League consists of four divisions that are formed by separating the country into four regions: ''North-West'', ''South-West'', ''North-East'' and ''South-East''. The divisions run in parallel during the season, but since the number of teams in each division may vary, the number of rounds in each of them may vary. FC Volov Shumen
Football Club Volov 1929 Shumen ( bg, Футболен Клуб Волов 1929 Шумен) is a Bulgarian football club, playing in the city of Shumen, which currently competes in the North-East Third League. The club was established in 1929 under the name "Panayot Volov", and folded its senior team in 2014, before being 'refounded' in July 2018. Shumen last played in the top tier of Bulgarian football during the 1999–2000 season. They play their home games on "Panayot Volov", with a historic capacity of 24,390 people and a current one of 3,500. The team's first kit colors are yellow and blue. 2020–21 Second Professional Football League (Bulgaria)
The 2020–21 Second League was the 66th season of the Second League, the second tier of the Bulgarian football league system, and the 5th season under this name and current league structure. It was delayed by two weeks due to the COVID-19 situation in Bulgaria, which saw footballers from a number of the participating teams testing positive for COVID-19 in July 2020, with Minyor Pernik especially affected. The season began in August 2020. The first game of the season was played on 7 August 2020, between Hebar and Pirin Blagoevgrad, ending in a draw. On 28 September 2020, Vitosha Bistritsa was excluded from the league, after the club announced on the same day that they will withdraw from the competition due to financial problems. FC Dobrudzha ( bg, ФК Добруджа) is a Bulgarian football club based in Dobrich, that competes in the Second League, the second tier of Bulgarian football. It plays its home matches at Stadion Druzhba with a capacity of 12,500 seats, and its team colours are green and yellow. Nesebar ( bg, Несебър) is a Bulgarian municipal ( bg, общински, pronounced obshtinski) association football club based in Nesebar, Burgas Province, that competes in the Third League, the third tier of Bulgarian football. Nesebar have played in the second tier or below for the majority of the club’s history, up until 2004 when the team promoted to A Group for the first time. Their spell in the Bulgarian elite lasted only one season however, as they were relegated. Nesebar is yet to return to the first tier. 2018–19 Second Professional Football League (Bulgaria)
The 2018–19 Second League was the 63rd season of the Second League, the second tier of the Bulgarian football league system, and the 3rd season under this name and current league structure. In June 2018, the Executive Committee of the Bulgarian Football Union decided to increase the participating teams to 18 for the 2019–20 season; as a result, only two teams will be relegated to Third League. The fixture list was released on 8 June 2018. The participating teams were confirmed on the same day. FC Tsarsko Selo Sofia became champions of the second league and were promoted directly to the first division. FC Dobrudzha Dobrich and PFC Nesebar were relegated. FC Rodopa Smolyan
FC Rodopa (ФК Родопа) is a Bulgarian football club based in Smolyan, which currently plays in the South-East Third League, the third tier of Bulgarian football league system. The team was named after the Rhodope Mountains and plays its home matches at the local Stadion Septemvri. Rodopa’s traditional home kit consists of green and white. Rodopa was founded in 1927.
