2019–20 Portland State Vikings Men's Basketball Team
The 2019–20 Portland State Vikings men's basketball team represent Portland State University in the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Vikings, led by 3rd-year head coach Barret Peery, play their home games at Viking Pavilion in Portland, Oregon, as members of the Big Sky Conference. Previous season The Vikings finished the 2018–19 season 16–16 overall, 11–9 in Big Sky play to finish in a three-way tie for 4th place. In the Big Sky Conference tournament, they lost to Weber State in the quarterfinals. Barret Peery
Barret Rex Peery (born April 3, 1971) is an American college basketball coach and current assistant coach at UNLV. He was formerly the head coach at Portland State. Playing career Peery played college basketball at Snow College for two seasons before transferring to Southern Utah, where he was a part of two American West Conference championship squads. Coaching career After graduation, Peery assisted at Southern Utah for one season before returning to Snow College for another season as an assistant coach. After a stop at Utah Valley, Peery returned as an assistant at Southern Utah before taking an assistant coaching position at Portland State from 2002 to 2003. Peery then served as an assistant coach at College of Southern Idaho from 2003 to 2005 under Gib Arnold, before taking over as the head coach from 2005 to 2008. The Seattle Redhawks men's basketball team represents Seattle University in NCAA Division I basketball competition. Established in 1946, the team was previously known as the Seattle Chieftains. Detroit Mercy Titans Men's Basketball
The Detroit Mercy Titans men's basketball team is the college basketball team that represents University of Detroit Mercy in Detroit, Michigan, and competes in NCAA Division I men's basketball as a member of the Horizon League. Traditionally, the Titans have been a fairly strong "mid-major" program, advancing to the Sweet Sixteen in 1977 and to the Round of 32 twice during the 1990s. New Castle is a city in New Castle County, Delaware, United States. The city is located six miles (10 km) south of Wilmington and is situated on the Delaware River. South Salem High School
South Salem High School is a public high school in Salem, Oregon. It was built in 1954 as the second public high school in the city. After South Salem opened, the former Salem High School was renamed North Salem High School. History South Salem High School is not the first school to be built on the current site. The former Leslie Middle School was built in 1927, and South Salem was connected to it when it was constructed in 1954. The schools shared common facilities, including the cafeteria and auditorium. The Santa Clara Broncos men's basketball team represents Santa Clara University in NCAA Division I basketball competition. The team plays home games at the Leavey Center in Santa Clara, California and have been members of the West Coast Conference since its formation in 1952. The team is currently coached by Herb Sendek, who had previously been the head coach at NC State and Arizona State. Sendek was hired on March 29, 2016.
