2019–20 Liga Premier De México Season
The 2019–20 Liga Premier de México season is divided into two divisions named Serie A and Serie B. Liga Premier is the third-tier and fourth-tier football league of Mexico. The tournament began on 16 August 2019. On 15 April 2020 the regular season was suspended due to COVID-19 pandemic. On 22 May 2020, the 2019–20 season was officially cancelled. Serie A Changes from the previous season *Toluca, América, Necaxa, Monarcas Morelia and Guadalajara Premier were discontinued due to possible creation of Liga MX U23 league. * Marina was promoted to Serie A as 2018-19 Serie B winner. * Atlético Saltillo Soccer, CAFESSA and Mineros de Fresnillo were promoted from Serie B as expansion teams. *Loros UdeC was promoted to Ascenso MX. *Atlético San Luis Premier joined the league. * Deportivo Tepic J.A.P. franchise returned to the division as Atlético Bahía. * Due to ground problems Real Zamora was put on hiatus in the 2019–20 season. * Tuxtla F.C. ceased operation. * Ocelote ...

The Liga Premier is the third tier of Association football, football in Mexico within the Mexican football league system that governs Serie A de México, Serie A and Serie B de México, Serie B leagues/group competitions. Ascenso MX
Ascenso MX was the second tier of professional football in Mexico of the Mexican football league system. The champion of the competition was promoted to Liga MX (top-flight tier). The bottom team was relegated to Liga Premier (the third tier). It was sponsored by BBVA through its Mexican subsidiary BBVA, and was officially known as Ascenso BBVA MX. The Liga TDP is Mexico's fourth tier in the Mexican League System. The Liga TDP is divided into 17 groups. For the 2009/2010 season, the format of the tournament has been reorganized to a home and away format, which all teams will play in their respective group. The 17 groups consist of teams which are eligible to play in the liguilla de ascenso for three promotion spots, teams which are affiliated with teams in the Liga MX, Liga de Expansión MX and Liga Premier, which are not eligible for promotion but will play that who the better filial team in a sixteen team filial playoff tournament for the entire season. Héroes de Zaci F.C. is a Mexican football club that is currently playing in the Liga TDP for 2021–22 season. In the 2018–19 season, the club is based in Iztapalapa, Mexico City.
