2019–20 Liga IV Ilfov
The 2019–20 Liga IV Ilfov was the 52nd season of the Liga IV Ilfov, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 31 August 2019 and was scheduled to end in June 2020, but was suspended in March because of the COVID-19 pandemic in Romania. The season was ended officially on 9 July 2020 after AJF Ilfov (County Football Association) concluding that the teams could not meet the medical conditions for matches at this level. Viitorul Domnești was crowned as county champion. Liga IV Ilfov is the county football division of Liga IV for clubs based in Ilfov County, România. The competition is ranked as the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system and it is competed between 12 teams, the winner may or may not be promoted to Liga III, depending on the result of a promotion play-off that is disputed against a winner of the neighboring counties series. Clubul Sportiv Brănești is a Romanian amateur football club based in Brăneşti, Ilfov County, Romania, founded in 1968, dissolved in 2012 and refounded in 2019. At its best, the team played in the Liga I, top-flight league in the Romanian football league system. 2019–20 Liga IV Călărași
The 2019–20 Liga IV Călărași was the 39th season of the Liga IV Călărași, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 3 August 2019 and was scheduled to end in June 2020, but was suspended in March because of the COVID-19 pandemic in Romania. On 4 July 2020, AJF Călărași (County Football Association) declared CS Venus Independența, Venus Independența the county champion. But not being eligible for promotion, it was decided to organize a play-off between the 2nd and 3rd place to establish the team that will represent Călărași County at the 2019–20 Liga IV, promotion play-off to Liga III. Liga V
Liga V is the fifth level of the Romanian football league system. Current format Liga V has 42 divisions. The divisions are regionalised and are organised by every county association. Each team plays in their own county. The county associations decide how many teams play in the league and how many matches each side plays. In Romania the most frequently used system is one division with matches played home and away. A number of associations prefer 2 or even 3 parallel divisions. 2019–20 Liga IV
The 2019–20 Liga IV was the 78th season of the Liga IV, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The champions of each county association play against one from a neighboring county in a playoff to gain promotion. This had to be the third season when the counties were divided into 7 regions, each consisting of 6 counties and the draw was made on 15 February 2019, with 4 months before the first matches. In the spring of 2020, most of the county leagues were suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 11 May 2020, the Romanian Football Federation announced that the promotion format will be changed, especially due to the fact that no team (apart from the teams that were already excluded or dissolved) relegated from Liga III.
